Rating: Summary: Even the cover is misleading Review: Even the picture on the cover is doctored, just like the content inside. Sure, the smartest woman in the world didn't know her husband was getting serviced by an intern. How is that possible? Everyone else knew. Good grief. What does she expect us to believe? The woman who couldn't recall a thing about Whitewater, Vince Foster, Travelgate, Filegate somehow remembers enough to write an accurate "Living History". Yea, right.
Rating: Summary: Didn't like it Review: My wife received it as a gift - I sure wouldn't buy it - I didn't finish it what a waste of time. All Hillary does is complain there is nothing new in the book - Do not buy this book!
Rating: Summary: When will we ever learn? Review: Sadness. Hillary Rodham Clinton has become a heroine of epic proportions to ... who? Long lines of people wait to have her signature on their copy of a book that reveals nothing of whom they think she is. What has she done to deserve their adulation? She was the wife a president. She remained with him after he committed a series of adulteries. She admits struggling with staying, a normal reaction. But what sets her apart, shows her to be above the norm? Where are the stories of true bravery, the life of one dedicated to changing the world to be so much better? And what has she really done to make the world better? The answer is not in this book. Why not? Perhaps the answer is because she hasn't done anything to change the world for the the better. So why bother to read the book? It won't make you any better either.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Review: I think this is an honest evaluation of a very powerful woman, who shoulde be an inspiration to all women around the world. She is hard working, and brave. I think that most people who are writing a bad review, have not read the book. They are partisan simple folks who want this brilliant woman to fail. And this is their way of giving their two pennies. If you had read the book, you'd admire and aspire to be as intelligent and accomplised as this incredible woman.
Rating: Summary: Horrible Person, Horrible Book Review: Do not waste your time or money on this bit of fiction.
Rating: Summary: WE NEED A SOCIALIST COUNTRY! FOR THE CHILDREN! Review: Taxes are too low for those greedy rich, the poor need a big tax check NOT the rich! This Lady MUST get elected president. That way we can have a reely diverse country and get the rich to stop stealing money from the mouths of our babies. This book shows Mrs. Hillary will push for Justice for minorities and for getting the rich to pay their fair share so we can all live good lives. Read the book and VOTE FOR HILLARY. We need her reel bad and we need to get rid of these fat cat Republicans running the country now.
Rating: Summary: Softsoap nonsense Review: This weighty tome offers (often inconsistent) answers to the kind of softball questions that Larry King or Katie Couric like to offer up. Mrs. Rodham-Clinton says that she doesn't want to be in the kitchen baking cookies. It is clear that she has no intention of writing serious books, either. Save your money and your time. Avoid.
Rating: Summary: Thoughtful Review: Those who are merely interested in skipping around this book for "dirt" will be disappointed. That is because it is so much more than a "tell-all" or "expose". It is the very personal story of an astonishing journey. It is the living history of a highly intelligent, extremely capable woman who, naturally, makes some people nervous - and others jealous. If this exact same book was written by someone whose name was not one that at least half the country would like to see on a presidential election ballot, it would still be a fascinating and inspiring bestseller. Now THAT'S a great book.
Rating: Summary: Who is She Kidding Review: This book is one of the worse books I have ever read. It is a waste of time. She must think that the American public are feeble-minded people. This book is full of half truths, political special interest group campaign slogans, and flat out lies that She is documented as saying in person that are totally different as what She has in the book. She gives Democrats a bad name.
Rating: Summary: Good book but with limitation Review: Overall, the book is good. Love and hate straight from the gut. Although a personal limitation blinds herself to a better understanding of certain things and events.
