Summary: The Best Book I've EVER Read
Review: Quite possibly the worlds greatest book. I loved it and have shared it with many of my friends. They all say they couldn't put it down and return it to me within a day. It has an incredible love story with a great twist. If you do loan it out, don't ruin the story for your friends. Let them enjoy the ride.

Summary: If you like melassa...
Review: This book has been my first and only encounter with James Patterson and I must admit that, after having read it, I couldn't believe that this author was granted (even though not for this book) some prestigious writing award.
You can like it, perhaps, if you are somehow a melassa addict...
Though the central idea might have been a very good one, it has been developed very badly. Neither the plot nor the characters are at all believable, they sound like a caricature of romance writing. I found impossible to feel moved by a story that, if just reported by newspaper or magazine with the plain, factual language of journalists, could have been moving indeed.

Summary: a pleasant, quick read
Review: I finished this book in a single rainy afternoon -- it is very light (although emotional), not particularly complicated, easy to read, and compelling -- you'll want to keep turning the pages once you get started. Despite the death of two of the characters, it strikes me that everyone involved had a pleasant, charmed, somewhat idyllic life. Things were a little too easy for everyone involved; love was true & uncomplicated. The book has some mystery, but there is nothing scary or very suspenseful here...

Summary: Wonderful, quick read....
Review: Couldn't put the book down! I don't usually get emotional with books, but this one pulls at your heart strings. This is the first I have read from this author...I'll definately be reading more of his work!

Summary: Something Different For Patterson
Review: I have read many of Patterson books, some becoming too repeated, but this was a complete turn for Patterson. As many Patterson fans know he mostly writes suspense novels, and this was a wonderful touching romance novel. I was thrilled with his style of writing a romance. I think Patterson did a wonderful job on this book, and have recommended it to many of my romance reading friends. I had one problem with this book - I couldn't put it down! I read this book within a 24 hour time frame! He carries you well into the story and the main characters. I would recommend this to those die hard James Patterson fans - along with those romance fans! Either way you can't lose! I really hope to find Patterson writes another touching romance novel as this.

Summary: Suzannes Diary
Review: I have not been reading for some time for various reasons. While in Florida a few weeks ago a friend recommended this novel and I immediately found a book store and purchased one. I thought it wonderful, but sad. A good book just to get into and have trouble putting down. I am now going to purchase more of James Patterson, like tomorrow.

Summary: A page-turner.
Review: I came across this book and I was taken back, I thought "James Patterson isn't he the guy that wrote the Alex Cross series." I decided to pick up this novel and read it, as the book jacket was so intriguing to me. I am so glad that I did just that.

Katie has been rejected by a man she thought loved her. She can't understand why everything in their relationship seemed to be going so well until a diary arrives from Matt about a new mother Suzanne. Through Suzanne's diary of her new marriage and child, Katie begins to understand Matt.

I have recommended this book to numerous friends and family members. Everyone has only good things to say. Make sure you set a side an afternoon or evening of uninterrupted silence to read this book, as you won't want to put it down.

Summary: Impossible To Put Down, But I'm Confused
Review: This is my first exposure to Patterson, and I was impressed by how much he can say in so few words. Although I don't usually get into this particular genere, I was drawn to the characters. Parts of this actually brought tears to my eyes, which isn't all that surprising I guess, considering I balled like a baby during Bambi, Life Is Beautiful, Talk To Her, etc. Anyways,
IF YOU HAVEN"T READ THIS YET PLEASE DON'T READ ANY FURTHER FOR I AM ABOUT TO SPOIL SOME CRUCIAL PARTS OF THE STORY
but I have to get this off my chest; at the end when Katie sees that Suzannes gravestone says 1999, katie then apparently realizes that Matt was not having an affair, but rather had already lost his wife, but earlier Suzzane had pointed out in the diary that Matt had already been published as a poet, which means that he had already known Katie, which means that they had already slept together, right? That confused me, in fact I am still a bit confused, was he cheating on Suzanne, or no? If someone can explain this to me, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.

Summary: Less than perfect
Review: I found the characters in this book too perfect. Even the tragedies were perfect. It was like reading a Lifetime Movie Channel movie. I could not relate to these characters. I would recommend any book by Maeve Binchy if you want to read about characters that are believable.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: get the tissues
Review: There's a shocker towards the end of the book that left the actual end a little anticlimactic for me but overall a powerfully written story. A real tearjerker which I couldn't wait to finish but I didn't want it to end.

James Patterson has written a love story telling how good life can be if you find the right person. It is about treasuring every moment with that special someone and about being thankful for what you have. It is about families, love, loss, new love and hope.

Keep in mind the lesson of the five balls- work, family, health, friends, integrity.
