Review: I found this book to be wonderfully enchanting. It was so well written that I was able to bring myself into the story as if I were Sarah. Most books I've read don't have the strength to pull my imagination like this one. The way Danielle blends true history with fiction is so fascinating and interesting it also peeks my curiosity to learn more about history itself. I found the entire book to be mesmerizing. Anyone who finds this book boring doesn't have the intelligence or keen perception of real life to keep up with the twists and changes toward the end. It's Masterful reading!

Review: I loved Jewels so much I read it twice,It was touching how Sarah and William's loves lasted so long,and how they created a whole empire of jewels. It was supurb!!!! I would read it again.

Summary: A great book with a terrible last 50 pages!
Review: I loved the first 400 or so pages of the book. My question is who finished it? It doesn't even seem like the same author! I couldn't put it down, it was wonderful- then at the end everything honorable and praiseworthy thing about this book fell apart! I'm rating it so low because it was such a disappointment to read that much of a good book and have it fall flat at the end. When I finished it, I threw it in the garbage!

Review: I read this book and absolutely loved it! It has a great plot and setting, too. This one and The Ring are my favorites. I suggest you read it because you won't be let down!

Summary: Romance that pulls at your heart; tradegy that shocks you
Review: I really enjoyed reading "Jewels." Absolutely a girl's idea of romance. However, I am shocked by the immoral activities of the children and the lives they lead. From the very beginning the book is wholesome and reflects good upbringing, then suddenly it is filled with immorality by her children. How is possible that the parents that refused to make love before they married raised such immoral children? However, I found the romance very endearing, by the Duke and Duchess of Whitfield.
