Summary: Great story, you don't want it to end.
Review: This is a really good book that made me laugh. The love scenes are done very well and the story is not predictable. I wish the author would have gone into more detail towards the ending. It ended too quickly like she was in a hurry to finish the book. Other than that, it's great!

Summary: Humorous and a delight to read
Review: This is just about my favorite JL book. The characters of Kimberly and Lachlan have great chemistry. I truly did believe, in the end, that they were made for each other. It's very romantic and Lachlan is definetly one of those fish that most women would find a lot of difficulty in tossing back into the sea. But that didn't stop Kimberly from trying. Kimberly has a lot of spunk and Lachlan is just too wicked by half. I can say that he has become my paragon of male masculinity. I was sorry that the book ended. I would have liked to see the two of them continue to fight it out (albeit in the most charming fashion) a little more. Regretfully, the minor characters in this book were too much of a distraction. I would have liked to see Kimberly and Lachlan cross swords a little more before they settled down and I would have enjoyed seeing Kimberly a bit less corporative just to make things more difficult for Lachlan. It's just a great book! Read it!!!! :-)

Summary: This is my favorite Johanna Lindsey Book.
Review: This book has everthing I look for in a historical romance. It has a beautiful old castle, the perfect couple, and a happy ending.

Summary: Everyone DOES NOT love a Lindsey
Review: This is the second book of Lindsey's I have read. As usual with her books, the plot summary on the cover sounds very interesting--but the characters aren't very complex and complications are solved very quickly and neatly. This one is better than most--the characters at least have a bit of humor about them, and the sex scenes aren't badly written--but the secondary characters, espcially, are VERY weak; annoying cardboard cutouts who are ovbiously there to further some plot contrivance. Very lightweight stuff.

Summary: Wonderfully written.
Review: Another great product from Johanna Lindsey. I am in love with Lachlan! What a character--and Kimberly gives as good as she gets--throw in the stuffy Duke of Wrothston, and the adorable Megan and you have a hit. A must read for any romance fan.

Summary: This is another reason why EVERYONE LOVES a Lindsey
Review: Love Me Forever will have you holding your breath and wishing. It stands up to the standard that Ms. Lindsey has set for herself with all of her previous books. It will have you laughing out loud as you read. She has done it again. I can't wait for her next book.

Review: I absolutly love this book! Out of the ones I've read, this is my favorite Johanna Lindsey novel.

Summary: Somewhat of a Slow Story, though the Characters Are Nice
Review: "Love Me Forever" is an alright read, not the greatest among JL romances, but not the worst either. It revolves around two people in search of someone to marry now: Lachlan is a penniless Scottish lord in need of a rich wife, and Kimberly is an English heiress whose betrothal has been broken and is forced by her father to find a husband. Both end up at Sherring Cross, the home of Megan & Devlin of "Man of My Dreams." As a sequel, "Love Me Forever" incorporates its prequel characters (Megan & Devlin) so thoroughly that half the book is devoted to scenes between the two. Which leaves little room for Lachlan and Kimberly's story to develop fully. Lachlan and Kimberly are likable enough characters (he's good-humored and charming, she's quickly flustered yet spirited), but their romance lags, especially in the beginning of the book, and doesn't pick up until Lachlan is accused of stealing Devlin's prized thoroughbreds. This is an interesting plot line simply because JL never threatened any of her heroes with prison before. The romance perks up then, but the book becomes unnecessarily long with a few chapters devoted to Kimberly's genealogy. Again, it was an alright book, but it lacked in the pure wit and passion found in its prequel, "Man of My Dreams." Sure, "Love Me Forever" had some interesting moments - like when Kimberly first meets Lachlan, and her nose is running terribly from a cold - but there are too many blah things about this book (for instance, why so many ridiculous coincidences?). I much prefer "Man of My Dreams" (5 stars) over "Love Me Forever," and I definitely DON'T recommend "Love Me Forever's" sequel, the exceptionally lame "Pursuit," which is about Lachlan and Kimberly's daughter, Melissa.

PS. Did anyone catch what the huge favor was that Devlin owed Kimberly's dad to make the Duke sponsor her? I must have missed that completely.

Summary: Excellent Read
Review: This book is wonderful! It seemed like a breath of fresh air for romance enthusiasts who are tired of the same ol' kidnap/runaway/lover's fighting plotlines that we have come to know and love.

Lachlan is one of my favorite heroes, saying and doing all the right things for Kimberly, and I LOVED the fact that he calls her "Kimber". It was such an endearing nick name whenever he used it.

Kimberly is a perfect heroin, someone we can all picture ourselves as. She isn't beautiful, but she isn't ugly either, just *normal*. At first, Lachlan doesn't notice her for she is outshined by the magnificent beauty of the Duchess of Wrothson, but little by little, he *does* begin to notice and I thought that is more like what happens in real life.

They never bicker, she doesn't run away, nor is she kidnapped, and the book is wrapped up nicely by the end, not just within the last 5 paragraphs as we have come to expect of other romance novels.

Finally, we have a heroin who isn't a beauty, a man who sees how beautiful she is despite her plainness, and an all around feel-good love story that will make you wish Lachlan MacGregor was a real man. If you haven't read this one, I strongly suggest you do. It is a sequel to "Man of My Dreams", yet I believe it is 10 times better.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: bland
Review: I read Man of my dreams before I read this book. Even though there were usual combination of villain, misunderstanding and all, the total story line was bland and not exciting at all. What is about Lachlan bedding Kimberly when she was sleeping so she didn't even know what was happening to her (and it happened only a couple of days after two meeting for the first time)? I would have given 3.5 stars if there is one. I would recommend Man of my dreams rather than its sequel.
