Summary: Loved It!
Review: I loved her wording with the Irish dialogue. And while I thought the main character was a bit wimpy, not every woman is strong and knows exactly what she wants in life. I loved the book and can't wait for the next one to come out!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Wonderful!
Review: Absolutely wonderful! I've been hooked on Nora's books since I started reading them about a year ago. I think this is the best one yet...I can't wait for the next in this trilogy.

Summary: she just keeps getting better!
Review: Nora Roberts, I can easily say, is my all time favorite author. This is the start of yet another Irish tritogy, and I almost didn't buy it. What a HUGE mistake that would have been! I don't know where she gets her inspiration, but every one of her books are wonderful. You know its a good one, when your six year old daughter catches you laughing out loud and all your doing is reading. Nora also has a wonderful sense of family in her books, since I'm from a very close family, that in itself keeps me coming back for more. It's truly one of those books where you'll laugh and cry. I can't wait for the next one in the series.

Summary: So far, The Best Yet
Review: I've read Nora Robert's for many many years. I've become involved in all her characters lives simply because you can't help it! Nora's use of the words makes the images jump out of the pages. And Jewels of the Sun is the best example yet. Keep 'em comin', Nora!

Summary: Okay but not up to par
Review: I enjoy Nora Roberts' books, particularly the "Born In" trilogy, and was looking forward to another trilogy set in Ireland. The descriptions of the setting, village life and interaction among the three women was well done. But the romance was not believeable. And the magic overdone. As someone who has lived in old houses, I can understand a feeling of haunting perhaps. But conversations in broad daylight? Too contrived.

Summary: It's a good one!
Review: I agree with some of the other reviews. I thought this was a very good book and I couldn't stop reading it. I was up until 3. I can't wait for the next one to come out so I can devour that one too.

Summary: Wow . . .
Review: That's about all I can say after finishing _Jewels of the Sun_. This book hooked me from the very first page and wouldn't let me go. The electricity between Jude and Aidan very nearly jumps from the page everytime they meet. I really enjoyed the camaraderie between the women in the book. It's something that's usually looked over in romance novels -- the exploration of other relationships and it added a depth of feeling to this book that was touching. The faerie story and folklore woven throughout are an added bonus -- moving things along and making them all the more enjoyable. Turning each page is like stepping into the Irish countryside. You can almost smell the air. Ms. Roberts has a way of describing things so vividly that they leap from the page and weave themselves around and through you. I had a silly grin on my face that I couldn't wipe off. Even when I cried I had a giddy, ignorant smile on my face. It was absolutely, positively wonderful. I'm waiting eagerly for the next installment of the Gallagher story.

Summary: Looking for the Heart of the Sea
Review: I cannot wait to see Lady Gwen reunited with her Fairy Prince. Anyone who feels this novel is unrealistic has grown up and lost their imagination! Only a gifted writer can take the reader too far off places and make you believe in fairies and ghosts! I for one believe!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: No Not This One
Review: I've read quite a few of Nora Robert's books but this one did not light a fire under me. I guess you have to believe in ghosts and fairies to appreciate her efforts. I'll probably read the next two of this trilogy but there will have to be a significant improvement to compare with MacGregors or the Quinn Brothers of Sea Swept, Rising Tide and Inner Harbor. Now those were good!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I would love to go to Ireland now after reading this!
Review: I loved every detail and felt like I was part of this town. I liked the faery tale effected she used. It is like telling a loving tale within another story. I could not wait until the characters found their TRUE love with the a little help from a faery king. I can hardly wait for the rest of the series. Nora Roberts never fails to keep me entertained. I would have no problem reading it again before the next book comes out.
