Summary: Big Dissapointment
Review: This book was not worthy of finishing! I started it at the beginning of a five hour plane trip and actually stopped after an hour, never to pick it up again. The characters were poorly drawn and utterly unlikable. As for chemistry, forget about it. Amanda Quick has lost her way with this one.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A Thoroughly Enjoyable Read
Review: I have recently started reading Amanda Quick and although I found this book a very good read. However, the book did tend to dragged in a few spots. I did thoroughly enjoy Emma's spunk and ability to speak her own mind. I also enjoyed the bit of mystery mixed into the plot, even though some of it was a bit predictable. It was also not completely realistic, however, I found many scenes extremely humorous and over all the book managed to captivate my attention. I thouroughly enjoyed it. I would reccomend it to anyone who enjoyed "With This Ring".

Summary: A real page-turner!
Review: Once I started this book, I couldn't put it down. The conversaton kept you moving through it. The twist in the end was great. The only thing I didn't like was some of it was a bit predictable. Ohterwise a great read.

Summary: I THEE WED
Review: MS QUICK IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS. THIS BOOK IS NOT QUITE UP TO HER USUAL STANDARD BUT IS STILL ENTERTAINING AND SOMEWHAT MYSTERIOUS. HOPE SHE COMES THRU AGAIN WITH A FASTER PACED STORY.

Summary: I Thee Wed
Review: I Thee Wed, being a Quick novel, was still enjoyable for a one-time-read. It truly does not measure up to her older works, but is worth at least a read-through.

Summary: CAN'T GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS.....
Review: Thank goodness I borrowed it from my library. I believe this is the only QUICK title I will not have sitting on my keeper-shelf. Whatever happened to the used-to-be witty sparring between the hero & heroine ? I always giggled & sighed over the intelligent plot & the charming characters of her previous books -- which were all marvelously-written thank U very much -- after I read 'em. I also re-read 'em all from time to time. Sadly this one really missed the mark by 10,000 feet. I found myself skipping over some pages just to get to the finish line sooner. Next time, I'll also pre-screen her upcoming novel from the library.....

Summary: Her worst is still OK
Review: But gee, I wish these books were as good as they used to be. I just read Ravished and Dangerous again for the umpteenth time, and they are just SO much better. I agree with another reviewer. Bring back Harriet, Olivia (I think the meant Olympia) and Prudence. Those three are surely the finest heroines in all romantic fiction...ever. The wonderful men in their lives, Gideon, Jared and Sebastian were awesome as well. It just doesn't get any better than those three. It gets a LOT better than this latest book!! The characters LIVE in the older stories. They stay in your mind and your heart. The newer ones are flat, and I can't remember their names 10 minutes after I'm done. (A sad reality for all the Krentz books)

I agree with many others. Give Zamar (or whatever) a rest!!!

Come to think of it, I think I'll start Deception again. I still smile at Mrs Bird, even though I know this story by heart.

Summary: Her worst ever
Review: This book was weak, watered down, and a waste of my time. Quick was once one of my favourite authors, but she seems to have sacrificed quality for quantity. A few years ago, I couldn't wait for her next book, but now I'm willing to wait a little longer while she (hopefully!) fine-tunes her work. The characters in this book are boring and the dialogue is asinine. I felt no sense of connection to Emma, Edison or anyone else for that matter. I don't think I'm too hard to please, but this was a terrible disappointment.

Summary: Quick is wonderful. I have bought every book.
Review: I found this book intriuging. It sparked my curiosity, though, I did have it figured out half way through, it still held my attention. I thought the characters were adorable.Keep up the good work. I hope with the right person behind me I can follow in your very large footsteps.
