Rating: Summary: Review Review: This is a story about Sam I am who tries to get someone to eat green eggs. He refuses to try them because he says he already doesn't like them without even trying them. As you go through the book Sam I am tries to get him to eat the green eggs and ham in different places and different situation but he still refuses. Sam I am really bugging him to try this and he starts to get annoyed. At the end he just says that he will try it just to get him off his back and it turns out that he likes the green eggs and ham and he say he would eat them anywhere. This is a great book for children. It teaches them to try new things because many children only stick with the same old things and don't dare to try anything new. Dr. Seuss makes moral tales a lot of fun for children. He uses rhyming words and unique situations to make kids like the book and then they learn something from it even at the young ages where they don't really realize what a moral tale is.
Rating: Summary: Youthful bliss! Review: God, I loved this book. Get it, I implore you. Don't deprive your children of this story.
Rating: Summary: Classic Book Review: I think everyone has heard about this great little book. Most children are picky about their food and don't like trying new ones, so it makes it easy for children to relate too. And the thought of green eggs and ham makes it funny too. It's one of my favorite books to read to my child. I consider it a classic children's book.

Rating: Summary: Timeless Seuss Classic For Any Age Review: Echoing other reviewers, this book deserves more than 5 stars...my wife and I started reading this and other Seuss books to our children from 6 months on. Always a delight, the kids would laugh at the silliness and cultivate a zest for life at the same time. We starting a great habit of reading two or three Seuss books before bed, and the kids loved them. My wife, an elementary ed teacher, taught me the technic of starting a sentence and letting the kids finish it. I would begin with, "That Sam-I-Am, that Sam-I-Am, I do not like that..." and our kids would respond in delight with, "Sam-I-Am." Soon we progressed to just flipping the pages, and the kids would tell the story! Of course, they had the book memorized, but generating an interest in reading is the first step to learning how to read. Every kid should experience this timeless classic while growing up. Parents will enjoy reading it almost as much as children will enjoy hearing Seuss's whacky rhymes. Combine it with other fun Seuss books, and your kids will sit enthralled as you turn the pages. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: It's so good, I bought two! Review: I find that using Dr. Suess books with cassettes appeal to students of any age. I teach English as a Second Language learners and they can start reading English with Dr. Suess at any age. They don't get embarrassed and are surprised and amused by comedy in his books. With boys, it is a miracle worker, they do not feel uncomfortable at all reading Dr. Suess books.
Rating: Summary: Green Eggs andHam Review: This is a great book to read for kids our age. There are very good rhymes and choice of words in this book. The book talks about green eggs and ham and if the character in the book wants to eat them in a box, or with a fox, or maybe with a goat on a boat. I suggest that people my age should read this book it is very eye catching and makes you want to read more.
Rating: Summary: A Must Read! Review: Out of all the Dr. Suess books this is definetly one of my favorites. It teaches kids to try new foods even if it looks gross and it teaches parents who read this book (to their kids) not to judge people by their looks. A great book for everyone because it teaches a lesson to all ages. I would reccomend this book to just about anyone.
Rating: Summary: Infinitely Entertaining... Review: ...how so? I still get a kick of it at the ripe ol' age of __ . I luvved it. My brothers and sisters luvved it. My daughter my neices and newphews love it. Some time or another we all get to be the Sam-I-Am's reluctant food tester. Or Sam-I-Am himself. Sometimes the classic stories, the simplest lessons are the best.
Rating: Summary: Very excellent book for young and old Review: This is the longest book I have been able to read to my daughter (currently 6 ½ months) that she has sat through. She makes it through "Go Dog. Go", and several others, but they aren't as long. I am going to guess that the sound of words rhyming so well has an engaging effect even on the very young. This book is undoubtedly a wonderful one for first readers (and it was in the collection of my two teens when they were young) but what I'd really like to impress upon the readers of this review is that this they shouldn't hesitate to give as a gift or get this book for the very young. It is fun to read for an adult (I've been through it dozens of times) and therefore more likely to be read a lot and even little ones can hear the rhymes even if they don't know the words. A really really highly strong recommendation.
