Rating: Summary: We love it! Review: My daughter (21 months) and son (3 yrs) both love this book. My daughter knows as soon as we get near the end of the book, and on the appropriate page says "SOOOOOO". My son and I try to remember the story while we are in the car...and he is always the one who remembers the sequence.."no mommy, he wants a napkin next..." A must read for all young children. Start them early on this one!
Rating: Summary: I love this book!!!:) Review: I had to pick a childs book to read in my speech and drama class for high school, so I picked this one:) I have loved this book every since I was a kid and I still love it! I even gave cookies to everyone in my class and I dressed like a mouse, everyone loved it, even the teacher. I gotta go read "If you give a pig a pancake" and "If you give a moose a muffin" BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: IT's the best!!! Review: I read this book while in the bookstore on vacation. I read it three times in the store and couldn't stop talking about it. I work as a reading tutor and this is a perfect book for my kindergartners. It is a must have.
Rating: Summary: Three cheers from this family! Review: "IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE" is my all-time favorite and the kids I nanny for love it too! We have read many children's books and we all love this one! Don't miss it, the illustrations are wonderful and the story is so much fun! Keeps you coming back for more with Pigs & Pancakes and Moose & Muffins. Five stars and 3 cheers from this household!
Rating: Summary: A favorite in our house ! Review: My daughter and I just love to read this book together. We turn each page with anticipation,(even though we have read it hundreds of times, and know the story by heart). This book is a great read along! I would recommend that all children have a copy of this fun book. It's my personal favorite.
Rating: Summary: My child's favorite book! Review: Laura Joffe Numeroff is an excellent children's author! My daughter and I have read this book so many times, she can recite word for word throughout the story. The cassette tape that comes along with the story book is excellent, because after the story is read, there is a fill-in-the-blanks game. Your child fills in the blank. (example - "If you give a mouse a cookie, he's going to ask for a glass of _____.) The answer is milk. And this continues throughout the story. I highly recommend this book. No child's library should be without it!
Rating: Summary: My toddler LOVES this book! Review: I know this book says it's for the 3-5 year reading level, but my 20-month-old loves it. He calls it the "Mouse Cookie Book", and we originally borrowed it from the library but then had to buy one (from Amazon, of course - 4 bucks cheaper than any bookstore I have found, incidentally) to keep library overdue fines down! He wants to have this book read to him as soon as he wakes up in the morning, after his nap, before bed -- all the time, in other words! I think it's important to read books to kids above their age level. (More interesting for us, too!)
Rating: Summary: Great!! Review: I'm a liitle too old for this book, but it used to be one of my favorite books when little. The mouse is so cute and it has a good meaning. Every munchkin should read it while they can!!!!
Rating: Summary: A Must-Have for all Toddlers Review: My two year old son LOVES this book. He knows the words by heart. We received this one as a gift and have proceed to purchase Moose/Muffin and Pig/Pancake. They are all good, but Mouse/Cookie is the shining star! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would!!
Rating: Summary: A MUST-HAVE FOR ALL CHILDREN!! Review: This is one of my two year olds all time favorite books. It was given to him when he was 18 months old and by the time he was 22 months old he knew the words. Now at 27 months he will finish the sentances before I have a chance to. As a Mom, this is one of my favorite books as well. It prompted us to buy "If You Give a Pig a Pancake...which we like, but not as much as this one). The illustrations are great too.
