Rating: Summary: great book!!! Review: i like the way clark writes......it makes you feel like a leaf in the ocean---lost, nowhere to go. everyone seems like a suspect. that is soooo cool. the sudden twists and danger just jump out of nowhere; u just can't figure out whodunnit
Rating: Summary: good read it was.... Review: at first, i liked the style she used to write, but as the story developed, i found myself getting lost...(who was this character again??) i dont know maybe that was simply my fault for picking up the book when i was tired, but it happened more then once and all the way thur to the end. i was left with a lot of questions as well...i think this one couldve gone deeper into the reason her father did what he did as well as why she allowed it to be done. hiding her entire childhood looks from all those currently involved?? and noone wondered or saw photos of her as a young girl? my first higgins book, and more than likely, not my last ::smile
Rating: Summary: I loved it!!! Review: This is the first Mary Higgins Clark book that I ever read and I absolutely loved it!!! The ending was really good because it was not what I expected and I like that. I definetely suggest reading this.
Rating: Summary: Like oh-my-gosh! Review: i thought this was an excellent book and when you actually found everything things started to fall into place i was totaly amazed at the ending and can't belive that the author wrote so well. she can decribe things in such a way that it almost seems like you are watching a movie in your head let me tell you i loved this book and will read the rest of them!
Rating: Summary: is this all there is? Review: so many holes you could drive a truck through the plot... soft, sappy and silly... is this the best this author can write? i was surprised this wasn't her first book!
Rating: Summary: awful Review: I must've read a different book than most of the other reviewers. I thought it was terrible. I have read other books by the author a long time ago and enjoyed them, if I remember correctly. Either the author has gotten that much worse or , probably, I have been exposed to MUCH better writers! I have placed this author on my "no more" list.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Book! Review: If you want a book to entretain you, and at the same time to have you in suspense all night, this is the book you should read. I had never before read anything written by the author, but now I am looking foward to find more titles written by Mary Higgins Clark. If anyone can recomend me a book written by her that is as good or better than this one, please don't hesitate to do so. I would be very gratefull. Gracias.
Rating: Summary: A SURPRISE GIFT Review: THIS PARTICULAR STORY WILL MAKE YOU STAY UP THE WHOLE NIGHT. THERE IS NO REASON THAT YOU CAN PUT IT DOWN. ALL THE CHARACTERS IN THE STORY MAKE IT MORE SPECIAL IN TERMS OF THE WAY THAT A LOT OF SUSPECTS INVOLVED WITH THE CRIME. ONCE YOU GUESSED THAT HE OR SHE IS IT, YOU WILL BE SHOCKED. MARY HIGGINS CLARK IS THE QUEEN IN MAKING HER STORIES EXTRAORDINARY. THUMBS UP! WAY UP!
Rating: Summary: Let Me Call You Sweetheart Review: This was a really great book! I loved the characters, they were realistic and believable. I really was fooled up until the end. I like the way that there were so many differnt suspects, but in the end it really made sense. You definitely need to read this one!
