Rating: Summary: W H A T A R U S H ! ! ! Review: Kerry is a single parent attorney who takes in an interest in a seemingly open-shut murder case after the victim's father begins recreating her face through plastic surgery. Climax is amazing and the ending, as in all of M. H. C.'s books, will stun you!
Rating: Summary: Pretty Good, Not the Best Review: Clark is very talented, but doesn't show it in this book compared to some of her others. At some points the different stories all blend together and get rather confusing. If you love Mary Higgins Clark, I'd go for a different book.
Rating: Summary: A Summer Book Review: This book is built on the phychological suspense that is not too well delivered towards the end.. and the plot involved too much of crossing and unnecessary characters. However, it is commendable that Mrs Clark is able to lead the readers on the round about suspense that kept us guessing til the end. This is great for a summer or holiday read but not exactly what I would expect for some serious literary reading.
Rating: Summary: Pseudo-personality. . .? Review: While being a regular reader of Mrs. Higgins-Clark, I just couldn't get myself to understand how a talented lady like herself could write a book like Let Me Call You Sweetheart. While the idea behind the book is quite good and original, the building of suspens is mediocre and her character cartoonish. This is not what she usually writes. That brings us to ask ourselves one question... Is that the same Mary Higgins-Clark who brought us such succulent novels like Silent Night and Moonlight Becomes You, or was this written by a low-budget copy-cat. The ladder would seem the saner thing to think..
Rating: Summary: Keeps you hanging on to the suspense until the end! Review: This book is by far the best book ever written by
Mary Higgins Clark and by any writer at that. The
most suspenseful book I have ever read...you think you know who killed Susanne Reardon until the final
chapters when you figure out that you are indefinenetly
wrong! A good mixture of vocabulary and skills to make you frightened. This book is so good because it is full of suspenseful ideas in Clark's mind, that keep you on your tip-toes. I was embarrassed when I said a prayer that night for a character in the book!

Rating: Summary: Wonderful Review: I'm not sure which of Mary Higgins Clark's books
I read first but when I opened it and read on the
first page Rt. #4 and Bergen County, N.J. I knew
I was home. I now live in Grant County, Wis. but
was born in N.J.( and went to the same high school as Ms. Clarks's daughters). All of Ms. Clarks books take me back and I can vividly
see where the action is taking place. Besides
the familiar surrounds, I truly love all of these books and there story lines. I look forward to
each new novel. I have read them all and don't
know which is best. Each is better then the one
before it
Rating: Summary: A classy "chiller" Review: To say Mary Higgins Clark can write is like saying that Leonard Bernstein could conduct! This lady delivers another suspenseful outing involving murder among New York's upper crust. Kerry is an extremely likeable heroine, a prosecutor in line for a judicial appointment and a divorced mom whose daughter is the light of her life. When by happenstance she gets involved in re-opening a murder case for which an innocent man has been imprisoned, though, she stands to lose them both. The climax of this one is a real nail-biter. But what makes this one so much fun are the many slice-of-life scenes of Kerry and Robin at home and with the people who love them--especially Geoff, who got his name from his mom's love of Chaucer. Enjoy. .
Rating: Summary: Suspensful! Review: Let Me Call You Sweetheart was a suspenseful book with an ending that you would never expect! I have never read a more fantastic, suspenseful book before in my life! Everyone should read it
Rating: Summary: The "sweetheart" of mystery delivers again. Review: The "sweetheart" of mystery delivers again with a suspense-filled, barn-burner that doesn't end until the last word. Mary Higgins Clark, in her trademark intricate fashion has once again managed to entwine the reader into the fabric of the story from the first page of "Let Me Call You Sweetheart." Main character Kerry McGrath and her daughter, Robin, are compelling figures that most readers can identify with. As McGrath follows the trail of justice for what may well be an innocent man imprisoned for a brutal crime, the true killer comes closer and closer to obliterating both Kerry and Robin. With a shocking whodunnit outcome, Clark has once again managed to nail down a novel that will keep you guessing until the end
Rating: Summary: A good mystery novel! Review: Mary Higgins Clark keeps you turning the pages and guessing who the killer is. I reccomend this book...it was great!
