Rating: Summary: My little pancake lover also loves this book! Review: My 2.5 year old's favorite food is pancakes...so you can imagine how many times I've had to read this book! I actually really like this one. The pictures are very detailed and it's just plain fun to read out loud!
Rating: Summary: I think this was a great book. Review: I liked this book becsuse I think it was kind of fuuny,I liked pancakes, and it was great.
Rating: Summary: Not as good as "Mouse," but a fun read Review: While nothing beats "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie," the original, this one is a charmer, too. My daughter loves it and reads it over and over. I love to read it to her! Isn't it fun to get a book that is fun to read out loud, too?
Rating: Summary: If you give a pig a pancake Review: This is an excellent book for all children. I have read this book numerous times. It is a great book for young children since it is predictable. Children find humor in the pig always wanting more. I highly recommend this book for anyone with children.
Rating: Summary: She Loves the Pig As much as the Mouse and Moose Review: Our 16-month-old daughter innocently plucked "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" from the bookshelf of our local library, and within a couple of months, we were the proud purchasers of all three books in this series. She adores "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" as well as the other two books and constantly asks to read them over and over. I think the author and the illustrator deserve many kudos for these whimsical stories that engage children so young.
Rating: Summary: Kids Love These Books Review: My 6-yr-old daughter begged me to get this book thru a school book club, which I did. It continues the series of books ("If You Give a Mouse a Cookie", and "If You Give a Moose a Muffin") which she absolutely loves. Years ago, we got "If You Give a Moose a Muffin". She loved it so much, I made it a point to get "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie", and eventually "If You Give a Pig a Pancake". She reads these books over and over. Yes, the storyline is ridiculous. That's the entire charm of the books! It's so off-the-wall, that it makes my daughter giggle with laughter every time.
Rating: Summary: A Dumb Book Review: I think the book of "If You Give A Pig A Pancake," is really dumb because it really doesn't make any sence. For example: I mean, really, if you think about it you would not give a pig a pancake in the first place. I think this is a stupid book for little kids to read. I think the only thing that I like about this book is the illustrations. I think they are so cute.
Rating: Summary: A Dumb Book Review: I think the book of "If You Give A Pig A Pancake," is really dumb because it really doesn't make any since. I mean really if you think about it you would not give a pig a pancake in the first place. I think this is a stupid book for little kids to read. I think the only thing that is good about this book is the illustrations. I think they are so cute.
Rating: Summary: The illustrations of the pig make this book what it is. Review: The story line of this book was cute enough to carry it, but the adorable illustrations made it impossible to put down!
Rating: Summary: I like the book because it is silly. Review: The silly part was when the pig was dressing. Another one is when the pig is taking a bath. And also when the pig built a barn.
