Summary: My Favorite book and author
Review: This is my alltime favorite book. And my favorite author. I'm not good at writing reviews, but here it goes...Leah has the summer to spend and gets a job and appartment near Ethan. They have been in love since December. They keep seeing each other. After, the summer, when she has to go back home for her last year of high school they meet for the last time but he promises that he'll see her again. It's a story full of courage, strength, and above all that LOVE. It's truly insperational. It's a must-read, must-have. I will get other books of hers. If they were as insperational as that, what do I have to lose. What do you have to lose, read it for yourself! I can GUARENTEE your satisfaction.

Summary: Lifted Up by Angels
Review: I'm probably the only person to rate this book under four stars, but it just wasn't up to Lurlene Mc Daniel's usual standard. Most of the book focuses around Leah and Ethan's romance and the sudden sad ending just seems contrived. I found it almost boring in places. The third and final book of this trilogy is better, but Angels Watching Over Me is definetly the best and also unluckily the shortest. This trilogy could easily have been just two books, taking just a little from this book to lengthen the first, which seemed to end far too fast. if you liked the first book, prepare for a disappointment.

Summary: A FUN book also a great mental health book.
Review: I read this book to my preschool class once. I was asked to read it every day afterwards. It has bright colors and an easy text for children to read along. In the begining of the book, scary features of the monster are introduced. Towards the end, children join in saying "GO AWAY" to parts of the monster until it no longer exists. This story can be read for fun or to aid in a discussion about monsters. The monster is portrayed in more of a silly manner instead of it being scary. We also made a felt puppet to go along with the book. Every class that has read "GO AWAY, big green monster" has marked it as a favorite.

Summary: Very good, but too slow
Review: After reading Angels Watching Over Me, I felt like I had to read this one. I did and I didn't feel so attached to it as I did to the first novel. I do think it was a great novel but the basic idea of the story was how different Ethan and Leah were and all the obstacles between them that stopped them from being together. Until the last five chapters did the novel's title start making sense. Excluding the slow parts, I think the novel was very good. The ending, though, makes you want to know what will happen between Leah and Ethan.

Summary: The Continuation of Leah's Life with cancer
Review: Leah, the teenager with cancer, is now deeply involved emotionally with the Amish, and especially one young man. He cannot do much about their love, for they live in different worlds. The interaction between young lovers, between families and between worlds blends nicely with the main thread of the story - terminal illness in a teen.

Summary: What an inspiration.
Review: The book was great. I loved the romance idea with Ethan and Leah. It helped me realise that people can hold on to a relationship no matter what. While I was reading this book, my own boyfriend got sick and no one knows why. It really had me scared but once I realised what all goes on in the world with other teenagers and relationships. I would encourage anyone to read this but especially the people who have no hope in relationships, or overcoming an illness. This book was great, I think I will read "Until Angels Close My Eyes" and then read this one again, so it fits better together. Happy Reading.

Summary: I Was Left In Awe!
Review: Wow! This book was amazing! I love how Lurlene McDaniel writesabout problems faced by teens. It helps me better understand whatothers are going through in the world. This book gave me a good idea of how powerful God's work is on earth. You feel like your life is blessed after reading this novel, whether ill or not, because you can believe that God is there for you always and that an angel is there to meet you at the end of the road. I learned alot about the Amish communities. I liked how the book was put together. It has romance, drama, miracles, and history all packed into one! One thing that people will probably notice is how easy it is for two worlds to overlap. The story was a page turner! I read it for 3 hours straight, finishing it in awe! A tear-jurker with inspiration! END

Review: Such a great book. This book tells you how love sometimes makes youact. How if people or teenagers fall in love would do each other. Ifyou love a great story with love and sadness added in it, this is the book for you! END

Summary: Lifted Up by Angels
Review: Of all three books in this series this was my favorite because it shows that love doesn't care about lifestyle or anything else. It also shows how two different people can come together and prove to their families that love is unconquered. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a romance story with a twist.
