Rating: Summary: This is the best romance triology ever written! Review: I loved all three of the books in the triology. I can't decide which one is the best. The characters are intriguing, the plots are captivating, and the romance is unbeatable! These three books are a must read! I only wish there was a fourth book to the series. The three main male characters have someone, but what about Erik? A fourth book about Erik would make this the ultimate romance series. If you've not read Lowell, start with these three. They are terrific!
Rating: Summary: FANTASTIC!!! Review: This was my first Elizabeth Lowell book. I love medieval romance books, and this was a good one! Simon seemed to be very real simply because even though he thought he'd get burned by Ariane, he went back for more like real people do. I really felt for Ariane. I wanted to know more about the other characters (Dominic, Meg and Marie), so I just went and bought UNTAMED to read next, then FORBIDDEN. The Learned people were fascinating as well. A great read overall!
Rating: Summary: Tell Ms. Lowell- WE WANT MORE LIKE THIS Review: This book is the best of the trilogy. I loved every aspect of the book and can only beg for more books set in this world. Possibly what makes this a great romance novel is that it does not have the heroine unsullied until she meets her true love. While what happened to Arianne was deplorable, it was more realistic than assuming all brides arrived as virgins to the marrige.
Rating: Summary: Just the story, that keeps me looking for more of the same. Review: The way Simon and Ariane, both, get over their hurtful pasts is narrated in just the way I love best. They're not only passionate, they're very courageous as well and neither naive nor unforgiving, just behaving as adults. I tried over half an hour to describe, what a story like this stirs up in me. I just can't put it in words. Either you love it or not. I cherished it, every minute, every page.
Rating: Summary: Hot!Hot!Hot! Review: This tale of the cold, Norman heiress, and the strong, unforgiving man she is forced to wed is not to be missed.
Told in the style like only Lowell can do it, this story unites passion, anger, acceptance and a love in love story that will leave you begging for more!
Rating: Summary: Must...have....more! Review: I loved this book very, very much. The characters are vividly painted, and emotions abound! You can't help but feel sorry for the heroine Ariane, with her tumultous past and her sad harp songs that could make a dove cry. I've been reading this series completely backwards, starting with this book, moving on to forbidden, and now I'm waiting for untamed to get back to the library. I just can't wait for a book about eric to show up!
Rating: Summary: Best of the Trilogy Review: I love the entire trilogy - Untamed, Forbidden, yet this one is my favorite. I loved Simon through the first two novels and he is so perfectly drawn.
Rating: Summary: Tender romance novel; very good medieval Review: This book begins slowly and takes you along slowly, but I hasten to say, that's not a bad thing! It's a more complex romance-medieval novel than most. It's a very heartfelt novel & I can say I admired the characters, which I don't often do! I think the author had great respect for her characters and care for the story she had to tell and it shows throughout the book.
