Summary: I cringe when my toddler comes at me waving this one!
Review: A Dr. Seuss knock-off! It's always nice to enjoy the book you're reading to your child (who doesn't look fwd to reading Green Eggs and Ham, or Goodnight Moon, or any Boynton book?). Go Dog Go ain't cuttin' it for me!

First, it is toooooo looooooooooong. Also, there is no predictable rhythm. It is just not fun to read. It comes across as something you would use to teach English as a second language, with all the "red dog on a blue house, dog under the water, dog under the water" jazz. And I can't stand the running dialogue between the dog who wears a hat and the dog who doesn't like it!

That being said, my 17-month-old LOVES this book! And I suppose that's the important thing. Luckily for picky me, she loves lots of books, and I do get to read her books which I enjoy as well. But when she comes at me with this one.....ugh. I want to run in the other direction! The bottom line is, of course, she loves it. And I love spending the time with her to read something she enjoys, so I guess it can't be all that bad!

Summary: A pictorial and literary delight for every child...
Review: A fantastic colorful book filled with wonderful illustrations and little sub-stories.
It stimulates a child's imagination while teaching him numbers, colours and social skills.

How about the child is counting the dogs in the bed and the ones underneath the bed.
Or seeing all the things the dogs are doing in their treetop party-the big dogs, little dogs, yellow,
red, blue, pink and green dogs.

This will be great fun for any child aged 4-8 , and will not only be educational , but it is something
she will remember for the rest of her life.

Summary: Go Dogs Go! Book Review
Review: What do you get when you mix dogs with cars and cars with dogs? You get a book called Go Dogs Go!, by Philip D. Eastman. This delightful tale is full of dogs running, driving, walking, swimming and even skiing.
I relish this book because it is real humdinger! I feel that Go Dogs Go! is a first-class read for first graders.
In conclusion, I think that Go Dogs Go! is wonderful tail...I mean tale. I recommend that you read Go Dogs Go!, you will enjoy it!

Summary: Good book
Review: I have just finished reading the heartwarming novel, Go, Dog. Go! I found it a compelling and disturbing look at the canine psyche. If I may be permitted to quote a passage from the book. "Big Dog." "Little Dog". "A red dog on a ..." Well anyway, I don't want to give away the ending, but I will say that spirals towards on an incredible twist-turn that parallels my own life!

Summary: Best Book Ever!!!
Review: My almost-3-year-old son has a very large library, but this stands as our favorite. The pictures are fun, the intertwining "storylines" never get old, and the climax (the dog party) is really fantastic. I had this book as a child, too, and never forgot it.

Summary: disappointed
Review: too small, too comprimised...neither pictures nor text in this format seem interesting to toddlers. colors themselves also not as vivid as in original, standard size format. would not recommend.

Summary: Watch these dogs go!
Review: Dogs, dogs and more dogs! If you love dogs, you'll love this book. There are big dogs, little dogs, green and blue dogs! It's also a great book for young kids to learn their opposites. I can remember my mom reading me this book when I was little. Then when I started to learn how to read i would practice reading it to my very own dog and as I got better I would read it to everyone who would listen. This book is just a fun book to read and I think everyone should have the chance to read it.

Summary: A classic from my childhood
Review: I remember this book and the "do you like my hat" exchange from when I was a kid. I just bought it for my kid. I never remember getting tired of it. It's all over the place and fun. I don't even like dogs and I love it. There's something about it's organization that really appeals to a kid's mind.

It must be my kid memory but it seemed like the copy I bought had lower-quality illustrations than I remember. Every child deserves to be read this book along with "Where the Wild Things Are" and other classics.

Summary: Go, Dog. Go! (This book is great!)
Review: This is one of the most interesting and exciting books that your child will ever read in his/her lifetime! This has been one of the top three favorite books of mine since I was a child. To all of you silly little gooses out there, you better buy this book because it was created just for you. It will really bring out the creative side of your children. It really doesn't have a big moral or lesson or anything. That's what makes it so different and funny. This is a book for learning how to read. Not learning a lesson. It's just really fun to read, and to listen to when someone reads it to you.
"Dog. Big dog, little dog." That's how the story begins. How it ends? Read it and find out! You can either purchase it here online, or go to a store, or what I would do, rent it out from the library. I mean, why would you just go out and buy it, without knowing if you're going to like it? (I know that I'm supposed to try to make you buy it from here but I mean, I wouldn't. So I don't expect you to either.) All I'm here to do is to say how much I love and enjoy this book and think that you would too. I recommend it highly.
So after hearing what I have to say about it, go do something nice for your children and yourself, and go read this book.

Summary: Go Dog Go
Review: This book is a book for younger children who are just learning to read. It is a good book to learn with because it has very easy words to read but it is long so the child can feel that they did a very good job reading a good book. This book is about dogs and how they drive cars and hang out and swim and fish and things like that. This book has very good pictures in it. This book tells where the dogs in the book are and what they're doing. It also says what color the things are that they're wearing and the colors of the things there in or by. It is a good book to learn to read because it has very good action words and descriptive words. It has colors and cars and objects and things like that.
I would rate this book a 3. It is good for very young children to read but it doesn't really have a point to it. I enjoyed it but I just don't think that the book is good for older children. I would suggest this book for people who are just learning to read or for people who like Dr. Suess books.
