Summary: This book was both of my children's first favorite.
Review: My 9 year olds favorite book when she was 1-2 was Go Dog Go! We read it to her over and over every night! Now it's my 2 year olds first favorite book too! "Read Go Go Go Dog!!" Her face lights up as I open the book and begin reading. And when my 9 year old hears me reading it, she comes and climbs into bed to listen again, too. A classic!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A favorite for two generations.
Review: My mom saved my copy of this book and it is my two year old son's favorite book. The word-to-picture ratio is perfect. He never gets impatient and we talk about something new each time -- the colors of the cars, whether he likes the poodle's hats, if he thinks the dogs are happy or sad or sleepy... It might even be said to be a three generation favorite since my mom loves to read it to him!

Summary: Eastman is the Hemingway of the sandbox set
Review: In _Go Dog, Go_ Eastman gives us a parable of the dislocation of modern life. Not just an introduction to prepositions, GDG dizzyingly portrays the speed of change and the isolation of the new suburban lifestyle. From the bathos of the bird's (do I recognize the young bird from "Are You My Mother"?) plaintive, "Stop, dogs, stop!" to the determined female dog who can only find love in the bacchanalian atmosphere of the "dog party", Eastman here foreshadows the angst of adult life. A must-read for anyone--whether you've got kids, are a kid, or were once a kid.

This should be on any list of 100 best books.

Summary: Go dog go
Review: This is the first book I ever read. I did not like the dog because he was scary. I think this book should have been about a cat. I have four cats.

Summary: This is the real magic of literature...
Review: When I was four years old I proudly read this book aloud to my parents as proof that I could read. Six years later, when my sister was born, I gave it to her. I cannot even think of this book without getting misty eyed, and I hope that others have had similar experiences, if not with this book, then with another. This is the real magic of literature, and I will proudly define "Go, Dog, Go" as literature until my last breath.

Summary: First and best book I ever read!

Summary: It made me laugh, cry and i would recommend it to anyone
Review: This book is full of such intense meaning, if you read between the lines you can really see that those three magical words mean more then what they are. Green dogs jumping, yellow dogs swimming, it works in som many ways and is so though provoking my life wouldn't have been the same if not for this book. A must read

Summary: Heartwarming.
Review: I've just finished reading the heartwarming novel "Go, Dog, Go." It is a compelling and disturbing look into the canine psyche. I don't want to spoil the ending for you, but all I can say is that it spirals towards a twistturn that parallels my own life.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The funniest book I ever read!
Review: When I first read this book I was 5 years old. It was kind of funny when I was 5 years old. I'm 6 years old now. I still think it's funny! I like it very, very much now! My name is Cassie and I'm gonna read it again today!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Still good 15 years later!
Review: I'm not ashamed to say that I've read this book. And it wasn't just 15 years ago. I read this book at the book store yesterday. I still enjoy it. It brings back memories, and makes me smile. I would recommend it to any child, and any adult suffering from nastalgia.
