Summary: A lie about a lie is not the truth
Review: Coulter says that the New York Times did not report Dale Earnhardt's death until several days. Not true, they reported it the next day on page 1. Then they did a tribute article a couple of days later written by Rick Bragg, a Pulitzer Prize winning author from the South.

So when she said they didn't report it, that was a lie.

The site dailyhowler.com has many examples of how she takes quotes out of context to mislead, with links to the original material so you can see for yourself. Just type "Coulter" in the search box.

Summary: Coulter got it right.
Review: Ann Coulter has given us a raw and unabashed insight into liberal thinking and rhetoric. She's a wonderful writer with a crisp wit and a way with words. Good reading if you are moderate or conservative, maybe not so good if you're liberal.

Summary: Excellent Book, Others are plain wrong.
Review: Its hilarious reading the 1-star reviews. They are terribly funny because of how obvious it is that they havent read the book. How many examples do they provide? None. All they have to say is that she is stupid and not funny. Which by the way is also a big fat lie. This book is hilarious, and even a bleeding heart liberal should be able to see that. Its simply a great Take into consideration that its a new york times best seller, and read the real reviews, of people who have actually read this book. And not the reviews of pathetic losers who have nothing better to do than attempt to lower "Slander"'s rating on Amazon.

Slander finally and completely exposes the liberal control of the media (SUPRISE!) Coulter finally sums it up in one great book. Her examples prove how the leftist media demonizes just about ever conservative idea and conservatives themselves. She then fights back with witty commentary in addition to facts and quotes. GREAT BOOK. BUY IT!

Summary: What a waste of money.
Review: I could gain more useful information by hanging a magnet from a string and asking it questions. At least it will keep me warm this winter.

Summary: Wow--this whole book is slander...
Review: ...against Liberals.
Lies, ignorance, and racism is what fuels Coulter's rhetoric. In fact, I'd be surprised if she wasn't on the Bush Administration's payroll. Avoid this book like the plague if you're interested in the actual truth, and non-idiotic writing.

Summary: Pure Drivel From an Angry White Person
Review: What prompts someone to make such blanket statements on subjects she obviously knows little about?

Should be listed under "fiction".

Summary: this book slanders reality
Review: An aptly titled book: This book is filled with slander. If you have ever seen this author on television shows such as Crossfire, you know that she's vicious, overemotional and has virtually no grasp of facts. The book is no different. All shouting and no substance, the usual stuff from the right wingers, who appear to have the world's greatest reserve of moral outrage, usually at government trying to solve a problem for a part of society other than corporations or rich people, or at average people enjoying life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness...So open wide, or if you're smart, avoid this book.

Summary: Take it to 'em Ann, take 'em to the rack
Review: This book represents a piece of first rate research overlaid with incisive analysis and wit. Throughout the entire story Miss Coulter is deadly when it comes to ferreting out the abject lies and slanderous misrepresentations of the radical, religious Left.

In the first chapter she points out what has become obvious to anyone who has attempted reasoned debate with a Left-winger: when arguments are premised on lies, there is no foundation for debate. She proceeds to point out that "logic is not their metier, blind religious faith is".

She develops the depth of Leftist hatred juxtaposed to their position of righteous superiority, but she avers that all that matters to them is power.

She quickly gets into development of the thesis that Left-liberals have enjoyed almost total control of the media over the last half-century. She uses 35 pages including 780 cites to buttress her case. In her critique she literally takes the intellectual analysis of the Left to the woodshed with devastating effect. Rarely have I read someone with her wit, intellect and writing skills. She's going to be a lot of trouble for those who subscribe to the mush-headed reasoning of the Left. She's a talk-show terror. She's far too bright for half-wits like Katie Couric and Bryant Gumbel. And, the light weights anchoring the major networks should thank their lucky stars they won't have to go head to head with her on national television.

As Ann points out in her conclusions, Liberals have been wrong about everything in the last half century: Stalin, Reagan, the USSR, the Abraham Lincoln Brigade in the Spanish Civil War, Nicaragua, welfare, crime, social security, the Civil Rights Act, and the sexual revolution. She next comments that all the Left has left is global warming, "coming in a thousand years to a planet near you", and abortion.

She pays particular note to the Left's indictment of the religious right, which she shows to be straw men extrardinaire. In this exercise she makes a convincing case that the unifying characteristic of the Left is "hate".

She's good. Read this book. Its truth will set you free.

Summary: free at last
Review: This was my first political book, and baby the truth will set you free! So nice to actually get the WHOLE story and not the editorials that pass for news. Read one review from "pink slippers" that said "where did she get her facts?" well pinky maybe look in the back of the book. From page 206 to 241 is all the well documented places she got her facts. All the news papers etc. SHe lists where all the gargage came from and then PROVES them wrong.I'm about to read it for the second time. Every right leaning and open minded liberal should read this book. It will make the right more proud and will make the left realize how duped they've been. Facts and facts and this is the best book ever!!

Summary: Ann's Brilliant!!!!
Review: So....you either hate her or love her? Well, that's nothing new. The Left Wing in this country doesn't care for the Right Wing, etcetera...

This is a well-documented, heavily footnoted expose of liberal bias (Yes, there is just that!) in the press and the vapidity in the marketplace of ideas.

Ann Coulter skewers liberal politicians and journalists with humor and lots of specific examples. She compares media treatment of Phyllis Schlafly and Gloria Steinem, book advances to liberal and to conservative authors, and liberal myths (For example: "The Religious right" - with great reality.

Let's be real, here. The Left Wing in this country are Socialists, made up of folks like Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton, Gore, and their hacks in the media who they control. Then you include the Hollywood elite, who know virtually nothing about politics (for example: Sean Penn, Redford, Clooney, ad nauseam), and then you have all the wannabees, and you can fill in the blanks. Then Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and all those in that category, plus those who always are looking for hand-outs, and the "something for nothing" people, and we have a problem. Ann Coulter tries to bring balance, and if you are in that category and you have a problem with that - too bad. That's life, that's tough, and so forth.

There is slander and bias in the press. Wake up and read the headlines. They are slanted to the left of center. Possibly even to the center of communism and racism - on the Democratic side, of course.

Great Book!!! Required reading of all thinking Americans, but if you don't think, you won't like it!!
