Summary: Become A Connector To Manifest ANYTHING
Review: This is a wonderful book that will teach you how to align intention and focus, along with your energy to manifest what you desire to create in your life. By using the tools in this book, you WILL receive that which you place your focus on.

This book will teach you how to become A 'Connector' by working in harmony with those around you. It gives you examples to raise your energy above the negativity of 'competition' and shows you how to align yourself in harmony no matter what your outer conditions are. When you are attuned to this field of alignment, you will radiate and attract to you exactly what is within the field of energy you are in harmony with.

Connecting to the filed of intention is a conscious, daily, moment by moment inner experience to connect you to the highest that exists within you. As a result you WILL bring about EXACTLY what you harmonize with on all levels. This book is a wonderful tool to help you consciously bring about the best in your life from the inside out.

Barbara Rose, author of 'Individual Power' and 'If God Was Like Man'

Summary: Connect to the energy and then detach. Great Book!
Review: A lot of important information is given in this book that will help you connect to the field of energy that you are connected to whether you may realize it or not, and then detach from what you are trying to manifest in order to allow the manifestation process to bring you what you desire.
This is a comprehensive book that will help to elevate your life in all areas. It will help you turn you negative thinking around, which is the by-product of turning your life around. This is one of the few books that has impacted my life, and has helped me to 'feel good' which is why it is highly recommended.

Summary: A feel renewed
Review: Dr. Dyer has a remarkable ability to express complex concepts. His book helped me to finally concretley grasp some of the spiritual ideals I've been mulling over in my mind for years. Thanks Dr. Dyer for helping me to connect the dots and see the bigger picture! Another book that I recommend is "He Never Called Agaian", along with "Good Grief."

Summary: What's Not To Like?
Review: I read some of the negative reviews and was not surprised at how people pick, pick, pick at good, positive things. Those are the ones who truly need to read this wonderful book. Whether the author gained his knowledge from others doesn't matter to me. He quotes numerous sources of inspiration throughout the book. And whatever his past was (as some reviewers insist on telling us about) doesn't matter either. What matters is the message this book is giving. Quite simply "Get over yourself." This author has greatly assisted me on my journey, and so have other authors, and I'm sure more will in the future. That's called living and it's part of life. Once you stop opening up to learning and seeking knowledge than you will be consumed in your negativity and wind up becoming bitter and nasty. If this book finds its way into your hands, consider yourself blessed and do try to read it with an open, loving mind.

Summary: I loved it so much, I ran out and bought the book!
Review: I consider personal development a hobby. I have done EST, Landmark Education courses; been to countless John Bradshaw seminars, Caroline Myss seminars, studied Tai Chi, meditation, . . the list goes on. That said, I found "The Power of Intention" to be advanced in its' ability to convey an impactful experience on the audience(me). Now I get that, "it's all subjective", but I cannot recommend this disc series enough. It doesn't just offer words, it offers transforming the way you view yourself and the world. None of the info is "necessarily" new but it is put together in a way that had a powerful impact on me. ON THE OTHER HAND, it could just be what I needed to hear right now.

Summary: Going Outside of the Box
Review: Great book on learning to see beyond the box, and working within your true essence. I rate this book as one of the best on the market today for getting beyond the "normal" boundaries that society and others have placed on us. Another book along this line is Tiffany Snow's books, which go beyond the box with defining "Source" and breaking constrictions to receiving healing and manifesting changes and abundance in life. Dyer's book is a must-have for re-recording your inner voice, and Snow's is a must-have for connecting to Source. These are the kind of books you want to write your name in the front cover when you pass them on, so you can get them back and read again and again.

Summary: Describes The Power Of The Source, But Not How To Plug In
Review: Wayne Dyer's book does a great job of describing the power of what he calls "the source". Unfortunately, it doesn't do a good job of explaining how to plug into it. So many people have lost their way when connecting to the source that knowing it, and knowing how to get to it and use it are two very different things.

Some people might mistake tapping into the source as pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps. But that is not it at all. Many famous people (i.e. George Lucas, Joseph Campbell, Dr. Phil) who have made it big, and really enjoy what they do with their lives will tell you that you can only be really good at what you want to do and really enjoy it only if you are true to your real self.

There is quite a bit of scientific explanation in this book for describing how the power of the source works, but I'm surprised Dr. Dyer did not mention the fact that the entire universe is held together by invisible electromagnetic bonds. An analogy he could have used is that tapping into your source is like correctly aligning yourself with the invisible pull that takes you in a direction you were predestined to go, regardless of what family you were raised in, who your biological relatives are, and so forth. Resisting this electromagnetic "pull" is far more difficult and unpleasant than choosing to follow it, which is not only easy, but will bring about happiness that will exceed your expectations.

Summary: Excellent book
Review: I found Dr. Dyer's book very well-written and something I can apply to my own life. I was struggling with many facets of my life when I saw Dr. Dyer's PBS special. I was so taken with it that I went out and bought his book. This was the first book of his I have read. I found his style of writing very easy, and something I could follow. The book has helped boost my confidence in my own abilities. I definitely recommend it. Thank you so much Dr. Dyer!

Summary: Dr. Dyer fans, don't be fooled with this one!
Review: With this book, Dr. Dyer seems to be resting on his laurels and taking a cheap shot at loyal readers. His points are trite, patronizing, and egotistical. One might as well read The Power of Positive Thinking, or Think and Grow Rich. Or, go to church and listen to just about any sermon on how to live a better life. There is nothing new here. Just substitute "God" for "Intention," "Universal Mind" or any number of other euphemisms. Save your money or better yet, read Vernon Howard, Eckhart Tolle, or don Miguel Ruiz. There is where you'll find real and intuitive inspiration. This time, Dr. Dyer didn't "get it."

Summary: Deceptively simple - a life long challenge to do!
Review: This book summarizes much of the 20th century metaphysical thought that is institutionalized via such organizations as the UNITY Church. I am curious whether Wayne has had any affiliation with that organization, which seems to share his outlook 100%.

Others have made many glowing statements about this book, and I agree. A few others have graced us with their criticisms (by the way, CRITICISM is a device of the ego...so if you are going to criticize a book for being a product of the ego, then logically only the ego can make such a statement and then rush to the internet to proclaim it for others to read - this being a reference to one earlier reviewer). Another gave us a lovely list (I picture them with a note pad staying up half the night to find nitpicky little errors so the page number could be marked down). I am grateful for knowing that the good doctor used the word "supersonic" wrong, yet feel such petty mistakes can be overlooked.

The message Wayne gives can seem deceptively simple, but it isn't. To actually practice what he states, i.e., to align your thoughts with "Intention" (for some reason, Wayne won't just honestly use the word "God"), is very difficult. Sure, anyone can do it for a short time, but can you make this a spiritual discipline for the rest of your life?

That is the goal of many spiritual aspirants. I suggest you read the book at least 3-4 times, let it really sink in, and then ask yourself "Am I ready to commit to do this?" If not, then you will perhaps spend the rest of your life criticizing rather than honoring others. Yet if you are willing to try, I guarantee you an adventure like no other!
