Rating: Summary: Spell Binding Book! Review: I have to admit I am a bit leary of books about the after-life, but after reading this book, I am in a state of awe! So many things written went right along with my Christain beliefs. It really made me think and gave me a comforting feeling to know that if this is truly Diana speaking, she is well and has made peace with herself and those who hurt her in her earthly life. I truly felt I was listening to Diana speak directly from Heaven and I found myself much more knowledgable about the after-life. Thank you Ms. Toomey for a brilliant book!
Rating: Summary: In Her Own Words: The after-death Journal of Princess Diana Review: I love the book. I learned a lot of information about what happens after physical death. This book and Diana's words brought me a lot of comfort. I highly recommend the book to anyone that wants to learn more about the afterlife!
Rating: Summary: Another Spokesperson for the Dead Review: I own over 500 Princess Diana books and I am drawn to Diana books that are rather obscure in their content. After all who wants to keep reading the same story over and over again? I hesitantly purchased this book thinking I could be open minded enough to be able to appreciate what this author had to share. I tried to read this book three times and each time I began to start reading it I couldn't stop laughing at it's absurdity. It's not that I don't believe in an after life but what really threw me was the fact that Diana refused to reveal the identity of her murderer(s) to the author. While she was alive she wrote a letter with this information but in death she doesn't want the culprit punished for his/her crimes. It seems to me everyone who brooches this subject will not go ahead and name names to avenge her murder(s)...(The most recent example is Paul Burell's book with Diana's letter that named names). I feel authors are afraid of the repercussions of naming a member of the British Royal family as a murderer. This ambivalence makes absolutely no sense to me. I stopped reading the book altogether when the author claims that it was revealed to Diana in heaven by her guardian angel the she was once Queen Elizabeth the 1st in another life. I love a good fiction book about Diana but this was just insulting not ony to her memory but also to the reader. I can only imagine what William and Harry would think of this account of their beloved mother in heaven? It would probably sicken them! If you want to read Diana based fiction I recommend "Whose Death in the Tunnel" by Aaron McCallum Becker and "Di and I" by Peter Leftcourt.......both of which are available here at Amazon! I do think that the author of the book I am reviewing honestly believes every word she has written but for me it was one long exercise in bad tase! I wonder if Christine Toomey lost her mind all at once or was it a gradual process?

Rating: Summary: A fascinating look at the life and death of Princess Diana! Review: I was initially skeptical when I first stumbled upon "In Her Own Words" recently while researching the topic of reincarnation. However, this book quickly became one of my all time favorites as I listened to the voice of Diana, Princess of Wales, talk about her death and what happened when she crossed over. This book is an absolute must read for those interested in life beyond the physical world that we know so well. Everything Diana said resonated with me and I found myself nodding my head in agreement as she talked about her life review and the levels of heaven. I heartily recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: A Great Read Review: I was intrigued of course by the title. I read it in 2 days, and it really didn't say anything startling new. This same heaven information is also in a book by Sylvia Brown. There was interesting information about Diana, though. But, I found a few comments supposedly from Diana, hypocritical. She states that we are suppose to forgive all and that what has happened to us on this earth,is what we chose, so we have to forgive those who hurt us, because we learn from the pain, and we also chose it. Yet, Diana, still hasn't seemed to forgiven Charles, or Camilla from what I read in the eipologue or last chapter. If she is in heaven, and is learning, and in a much betterplace, she certainly must by now have forgiven them? Still, it was interesting. Also, her speech about abortion, stating that "women using it as birth control will end up having to relive old karma". But, Diana said previously, about how we "choose" this life path ahead of time while in heaven, well, then certainly women who get abortions would have already chosen this ahead of time, for good or bad. If someone wants my book, I will sell it cheaper than the used book prince of $7.41. Save yourself, read Sylvia Brown..much better!

Rating: Summary: A must read for anyone wanting to learn more the afterlife! Review: If you have already read Betty Eadie's near-death experience in "Embraced by the Light", Christine's wonderful book takes over where Betty's leaves off and helps to fill in the gaps. I felt like I was really there with Diana experiencing each step of her healing and re-education on every level. By listening to Diana explain each step in her development, it makes perfect sense as to why we experience what we do here on earth. It also explains God's plan for us and how we can achieve perfection by completing our lessons in order to be able to join God the Father in Heaven. This book talks about suicide and the souls having to come back eventually to still learn the lessons they had agreed upon before they took on their physical bodies. Also it explains that those who commit suicide have to watch the pain they have put those through who they left behind. These souls were advised they should have asked for help in order to have avoided taking their own lives. It may have saved them from such a drastic act. This was absolutely one of the most enjoyable and enlightening books on the spiritual realms I have ever read. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about the complete picture and meaning of our lives.
Rating: Summary: Very descriptive book about the afterlife Review: If you have always wondered what your loved ones are doing up in heaven, this book is your answer. It's not so much about Diana, but more about what one does in heaven after leaving the earth plane. And it's really interesting, the things they do! Nothing like what I thought - sitting around, playing harps all day. Diana talks about the people she meets up there and the lessons she had to learn and the "levels" of learning that she progresses through. She explains why some of us have such a hard life, and she doesn't just condescendingly say, "Because everything happens for a reason" like so many other books do. She explains how we free-will-fully chose to set up the circumstances of our lives the way we did, so that we can learn the lessons that we determined we should learn in this lifetime. I came away viewing life very differently. I was also glad to learn that my loved ones have lots to do and are not bored in heaven. ;) PS - If you're curious about the circumstances surrounding Diana's death, she explains it all too. And it's not what you think.
Rating: Summary: In Her Own Words and Christine Toomey Review: In her own words is not only a story about Diana's life on earth and her afterlife but a guide for all of us to better understand our own lives. No matter what your personal beliefs are about people being able to talk to other people after their death everyone should take the time to read this book. I personally have had the honor of meeting "Christine" and believe that this happened to her. Even if it didn't this is without doubt the most spiritually uplifting book I have ever read. It gave me a chance to evaluate my own life and the meaning of it.
