Rating: Summary: The Best Book I've EVER read Review: I chose this book for my english reading on a Friday morning and didn't put it down until I finished it. A must read for ALL! Melina Marchetta: Thank you for writing this book. It really meant a lot to me.
Rating: Summary: It's about relationships between women from 3 generations. Review: This book is not just about sex and drugs. It's about how hard it is to fit in when your different. this book expresses a girl's life and the phases she goes through. I wrote this book because of my Nonna emmigrating to Australia. I wanted to know how it felt to live without a close member of the family near you. I never knew I was going to sit down and write about racism or suicide. If you liked this book, watch out, because a movie's coming your way.Lots of love, Melina
Rating: Summary: Best book i've read Review: Looking For Alibrandi is a moving and heart renching book about an Italian girl growing up in Australia. It tells us how she deals with the choices a person in grade 12 needs to decide and she also meets her father for the first time ever, Josie also feels as if she doesn't fit in at St Martha's the school she is attending on Scholoship. This book is the best book I've read and i hope Melina Marchetta goes on to write more books of this standard.

Rating: Summary: Give it a miss Review: Looking for Allibrandi is the story of Italian girl growing up in Australia. From page one it is easy to tell your in for a boring 261 pages of steryotypes and clishe's. The Author obviously has no idea what she is talking about and should stick to school teaching.
