Summary: Narnia is THE place to be!
Review: The Chronicles of Narnia is not just a fantasy series. It is about life, death, and human spirituality. Never in the history of fantasy has one series commented so broadly on such topics as religion, individuality, and escapism into our own fantasies. Recommended for any age group.

Summary: Wrong order but Wonderful
Review: C. S. Lewis is genius. To be able to create an allegory for the life of Christ in such a way that would not be disapproved of by those who think that religion has no place in school is truly admirable. The series is one of the best I've ever read. I do think, however, that the order should have been left alone. I often wonder if the publishers realize that Lewis may have written them in the order he did for a reason. To anyone who reads them, I suggest reading them in the order first published so that you can see for yourself the mystery that Lewis put into his series simply by not using chronological order. It makes a wonderful series even better!!!! The series is a classic for all ages and all times!!!

Summary: A fun-filled fantasy!!
Review: I am 13 years old and I have read all of these books more than once. Everytime they seem to obsorb you even more than the last time. My favorite was The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe which was filled with so much fantasy. The first time I read this book I finished it in one day. In other words, I couldn't put it down. I hope you enjoy these books just as much as I did.

Summary: Wonderful tales with enduring significance.
Review: The Chronicles of Narnia is undoubtedly C.S.Lewis' best known and loved work. I was first introduced to the books while returning to college in the early 70's. I have read the set seven more times since, the last time aloud to my wife as I neared 50! I have given away many sets and expect to give many more.

Summary: A Terrific Series for young and old!
Review: The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of 7 books written by C.S. Lewis. They tell stories about a mysterious land called Narnia and tne kings, queens, animals, and other people who have lived there throughout time. Each book has an exciting story line that is easy to read and follow. I like the Chronicles of Narnia because each book is telling a story of adventure, mystery and excitement! I think they are a good line of stories for anyone to read from ages 8 to 98! The only thing that is confusing about them is the British accent. So if you are looking for a line of stories to read on a rainy day, check out these books!

Summary: These books are good
Review: I thought the books of Narnia were very entertaining throughout the whole series. The books are probably my favorite out of all the books I've read so far. I highly recommend all of these books to both kids and adults and they'll entertain you all day long.

Summary: The finest transportation to a true child's fantasies.
Review: My father, a long-time admirer of C.S. Lewis, first bought me this set of books when I was nine. I read it quickly, hungering and loving every image and emotion so completely that I had to return to the magical world of Narnia again, not a year later. My mother was astounded that I had actually re-read a book, let alone seven! Through all my life changes and moves, I never let them go, keeping the magic on my shelf for the next right moment. Now, twenty-one years later (much too long a wait!), I am readying myself for another trip to the Land of Aslan, and I can't wait to start! Thanks, Mr. Lewis.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: I read The Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe from the Chronicles of Narnia. This book is an enchanting tale of a magical land called Narnia, which can only be entered through a special wardrobe. It is so discriptive that reading the book will fill your mind with pictures. I couldn't put it down. Once you read one book from the series, you'll want to read them all. I know I did!

Summary: Out of this world.
Review: When I was still really young and living in China, by chance I picked up a book called "Magic Chair" that was translated into Chinese. I did not realize it was part of a series. I thought the story was fascinating and hungered for more, but I couldn't find any more similiar books at the time in China. The book certainly made an impression in my mind. Years later, I was going to high school in Utah. While browsing books in a book store, I saw the boxed set of CON. While skim through the book, imagine my surprise when I found out that the Silver Chair in this series was the same "Magic Chair" I read so long time ago. I bought the set, and read it all. Now years later, I just graduated from MIT with a Master's degree. When my parents comes visit me for my Commencement in June, I will ask them to bring me the box set with them. I want to read these "Children's" books again, even though I am 21 years old now.
