Summary: A true favorite. A Childhood Classic
Review: With an activity on every page, this book is a winner. Children can pet the bunny, feel daddy's beard or lift a blanet for peek a boo with baby. The pictures are gentle made with simple lines. The simple line pictures make it easy for young eyes to focus to see the picture. The activities are fun and focus on touching. This is a classic that I grew up with and my children are growing up with now.

Enjoy.

Summary: A little overrated
Review: Compared to Eric Carle, Rebecca Emberley and Dr. Seuss, I think this book is a little overrated. The illustrations are dated and don't hold my son's attention at all. I bought this because it had a good reputation, but I'm disappointed.

Summary: I know it's a classic, but I really don't care for it
Review: I know it's a classic, but I really don't care for it. I find the book fairly uninteresting and the illustrations dull. Our baby just doesn't respond to this book as much as with other books.

I think that there are much better books out there with much better content and illustrations.

Summary: I loved this book when I was a kid.
Review: I especially liked to rub the Daddy's whiskers in the book, then rub my real Daddy's whiskers. This book is a great tool for awakening children to their senses and to all they can learn through them.

Summary: Great book -- but fragile
Review: This is an awesome book. My 6 month old son loves it. Unfortunately, it is made of lightweight cardboard and my son is teething. You will definitely have to keep it out of your child's reach if you want it to last more than an hour.

Summary: Drab
Review: Drab book. My baby girl (now 10 months old) has had this book for four months now. While she loves books she finds this one uninteresting. I think it its too filmsy and entirely too drab. This experience has made me cautious about the amount of credit I should give to these reviews. It seems a bit like the emperor's new clothes... can't anyone else see that he is naked?

Summary: good content but poorly made book
Review: my daughter loves this book, but has obliterated it since it is so poorly made (light cardboard w/a plastic ring binder). the "touch and feel" series is a better bet.

Summary: Pat the bunny
Review: I absolutely love this book!!!!! I remember my parents reading it to me when I was a little one. I used to tote it around wherever I went, and I hope my baby will cherish it as much as I did!! What great memories

Summary: You can't go wrong with this for a child under two.
Review: My son has enjoyed this book for months. I agree that it is a bit flimsy in the binding, but this shows that it is read alot. It allows young ones to touch, smell, and see objects, and also teaches other concepts (peek-a-boo and bye-bye). Has a British touch to it ("Mummy"), which we like, as well.

Summary: Not the board book version
Review: These are great books, but.... I expected the board book versions for my toddler son and the light cardboard with pokey plastic binding was a real dissapointment. There's no way these books will hold up to the demands of my kids. I put them away for read with mommy time only.
