Review: I recently lost my 18 year old son in a tragic car accident. This book was a gift to my family. It helped our young son a lot . I also shared this book with the first grade class that I volunteer in. The response was wonderful. The artwork is beautiful and the words are appropiate for any age. In peace

Summary: Perfect for those with no preconceived ideas about death.
Review: "The Next Place" is perfect for people of all ages, struggling to understand death.The ideas are uplifting and inspirational,(almost can't wait to get there, it sounds so good!) although those with organized religous ideas may not agree. The illustrations are beautiful. We read this book at the memorial service for my recently departed 11 year old.

Summary: The perfect book for someone that has lost someone they love
Review: I've never seen a book that completely conveys a message as well as "The Next Place." The text combines with the author's beautiful illustrations to provide a sense of peace to anyone that has lost someone that they love.I first read this book by myself, then shared it with my teenage daughter. We have both found comfort in it.

Summary: A comforting vision of the hereafter
Review: I recently lost my wife of 41 years unexpectantly. Although we had talked about the after life within the context of our faith, nothing can really prepare one for the reality of losing someone you love. I found this book, which was given to me by a friend, to be a compelling and comforting vision. It was truly a soothing balm for my dispairing heart.

Summary: Very emotional in a peaceful way.
Review: I am a 17 year girl and recently, my great-grandma died. My family went to her town for the funeral and to support her companion of 21 years, Ben. We had heard of this book before, so we thought it would be helpful to buy it for Ben. Towards the end of the funeral, I had a sudden sensation to share the book with everyone there. So I asked the minister and he called me up and I read the whole book at the funeral. It was a very touching experience to everyone present. This book brings peace and closure to those grieving the loss of a loved one.

Summary: A Gift Of Hope!!
Review: My aunt recently died after an eight month battle with a brain tumor. At the wake, her sister-in-law brought this book to my aunt's two adult daughters. What a gift! It harbors such hope and comfort. I appreciate the manner in which Mr. Hanson explains what we all have to look forward to. I know my aunt is somewhere else right now but also lives in all of our hearts forever.

Review: I bought this book to read with my daughter after the recent death of my husband, her daddy. We both wept at the beauty of the images and the thought that we are all joined in such a glorious way. It is a masterpiece of hope. Thank you Warren Hanson.

Review: I was very moved by this book. I can see it as a wonderful gift for someone who has lost a loved one, but it is also a great book to give anyone a sense of peace, serenity, and hope. The illustrations are also very beautiful. I would recommend it to everyone I know.

Summary: A book which makes it just a little bit less painful
Review: I recently received this book from friends following the sudden death of my 30-year old brother. Reading it brought combined tears of happpiness and sadness. This book was terrific with its wonderful words and vibrant illustrations. It made me feel a little more comfort in knowing that my brother would always be with me until the one day we would meet again. I know I'll always have a beautiful angel looking out for me. Now I'm sending this uplifting book to my bother's best friend - his wife.
