Summary: The first was so good I'm buying another!
Review: My 14-month old son loves this book! He received it for his first birthday and insists on having it read at least once a day. In fact, he loves it so much it's falling apart. The back cover is a thing of the past and a couple of the pages are hanging on by a thread but given how much use (and abuse) this book gets, it has survived well. I'm purchasing a back-up copy just in case- I don't know how we'd get through a day without this book. It's a fun to read (for kids and adults), has a great rhythm and the illustrations are cute and colorful. This book is definitely a must have for a little one.

Summary: Ten Little Ladybugs
Review: My daughter has loved this book since we got it. (She is now 2 and we got it for her when she was 9 months.) It is worn out we've looked at it so much. The colors are really nice and it is a good way to introduce animals to infants. Plus the counting part of the book is great.

Summary: The best book!
Review: My twins absolutely love this book! My son loves to feel the bugs and my daughter loves the colorful illustrations. We read it at least 10 times a day (to each of them). I'm thinking of buying another in case this one gets worn out too fast!

Summary: The only bugs in our house!
Review: This received 2 copies of this book as a shower gift for my daughter and I am so happy that I didn't return or give the extra copy away! This book is beautifully illustrated and the 3-D lady bugs add a nice touch for the kids. It is my daughters favorite and gets read several times a day!

Buy and Enjoy!

Summary: The cutest book!
Review: My 18-month old LOVES this book! It has been his favorite since he received it for his first birthday. We read it at least 5 times a day.

Summary: A centerpiece for learning
Review: My daughter received this book as a gift when she was one-year old and at the time she was facinated by the illustrations and 3-D ladybugs. Now at two this book has become so much more than visual stimulation. She learned to count to ten (by rote) by the time she was 16 months and learned all the animals in the book and their sound by the time she was 18 months. At two we now read the book and talk about all the colors of the animals. This is her absolute favorite book and she laughs with anticipation with the turning of each page. A must buy!!!

Summary: My Son's Favorite Book
Review: My son started with Five Little Ladybugs when he was only a few months old. We read it over and over and over again until Daddy discovered TEN Little Ladybugs! (He's obviously not the one home reading to his son all day.) Anyway, whether 5 or 10 ladybugs, they are both my son's favorite books. He's learned how to point and touch, turn the pages and associate similar colors. It really is a sweet book, as long as you can stand reading it again and again. Of course, my son is worth it!

Summary: Love the Bugs
Review: When our daughter was 6 months, we ordered a bunch of board books to start her library -- Dr. Seuss, Richard Scarry, Curious George, Eric Carle, Sandra Boynton, and others. This one, however, is her favorite! From the first time we opened it, she went straight for the ladybugs.

Our daughter is 7 months now and loves grabbing the ladybugs every chance she gets. She tries her darndest to get the other board books in her mouth, but this one gets a little less wear and tear because she is content to feel the ladybugs and look at the bright drawings. It is a beautifully illustrated story with lines that are fun to read out loud, and I have no doubt our daughter will enjoy this book on other levels too as she gets older.

Summary: Laila's favorite book
Review: My now 10 month old daughter absolutely loves this book! It is her favorite. We've had it for several months now and she never seems to tire of it. We bring it with us everywhere. She loves to touch the ladybugs and watch them disappear as we flip the pages. The book it beautifully illustrated and considering how often I have to read it, I never get bored with the narrative that accompanies the pictures. Since Laila loves it so much we also got Good Night Sweet Butterflies and that one is just as fabulous. A special thanks to Melanie Gerth for providing such wonderful reading materials for babies (and their parents too!) I am always looking for more by this author and can't wait for another installment. Numbers and Colors have been covered, what's next? Shapes? Keep them coming!!

Summary: Have it memorized
Review: I have read this book so many times that I have memorized the book. My 17 month old loves it. In fact, I was so tired of reading it I sent it to my mother's for the two days a week she visits her. The book really is wonderful and tought her several animal words including turtle and duck. I have seen several other books with a similar design of counting down. I do not know if they are by the same author, but we aslo have one about butterflies. She loves this one almost as much.
