Summary: Ten Little Ladybugs
Review: I gave the book to my 2 1/2 yearold grandson and read it to him.I visited for four days and I think he brought the book to meno less than 10 times. By the last day of my visit he was ableto identify most of the numbers(1 through 10) and all of the animals that were on the pages.Hats off for making this bookavailable. Highly recommend it toany 2 + children.

Summary: The best!
Review: I let my then 5 month old daughter choose a book from a local toy store and this is what she grabbed right away. She is almost 8 months now and every day she crawls over to her little bookshelf and pulls out Ten Little Ladybugs. She has quite a library of books, but nothing excites her more than the colorful drawings and 3-D ladybugs. Whether or not she learns to count backwards would just be icing on the cake - buy this book for the colors, rhyming and durability. (And the ladybugs get home in the end!) Well worth the price.

Summary: A Baby Essential
Review: I bought this for my daughter when she was 14 months old. It is one of her favorite books that she asks to read over and over again. It has helped her learn to count and identify animals. She even tries to read it herself. An essential for any baby reading collection.

Summary: Simple story - helped daughter count to 10 before age 2!
Review: This is a great, simple book for babies and toddlers. We started reading this story to our daughter when she was about 1 year old. She was able to count the "little ladybugs" before she turned 2 years old!

This is a very interesting book for toddlers because the ladybugs are raised plastic bugs that are fixed to each page. The book starts with 10, and with each page, decreases by one. The simple story allows kids to enjoy the illustrations, words, and play with the bugs.

Summary: Ten Little Ladybugs
Review: Ten Little Ladybugs, by Melanie Gerth, Illustrated by Laura Huliska-Beith, is a funny and excellent book. This book is perfect for children who are learning their sense of touch. This book is also wonderful for little kids because it has such bright colors, and they can count along as the ladybugs disappear. The main reasons I like this book are, it's appropriate for any age, it has short words and it's not too long.

Summary: It's never too early to start reading
Review: When our daughter was six weeks, she received this as a shower gift. We read it to her just to see what she would do. She was enthralled. We can usually read it about four times before she becomes bored. It is a fast-paced book that I know we will have to get another copy of by the time she can actually read it on her own.

Summary: What a great idea!
Review: This book is truly delightful. The rhyming is inspired and the ladybugs provide a real attention-grabber for the girls. They love this book. It's so well-used and well-loved that we may have to get another copy since the one we have is falling apart!

Summary: A great counting book....
Review: My daughter loves the colorful drawings and pictures of other animals! On each page we count the ladybugs.. but where do they go? A great format for young children!

Summary: For all you ladybug fans!
Review: I bought this book for the little girl we are going to be adopting from China. For those in the Chinese adoption community who collect anything with ladybugs, this is an adorable book. The illustrations are bright and captivating and the story, particularly the ending, is especially appropriate for all of us who wait for the day we can bring our own little "ladybug" home.
I can't wait to share it with her. In the meantime, I pull it off the shelf from time to time and it cheers me up on those days I don't know how I can handle the wait.

Summary: My 10-month old's favorite!
Review: My 10-month old daughter always grabs this book when we sit down for storytime. She loves to touch each ladybug, and she points to the colorful drawings of the butterfly, bumblebee, frog and caterpillar. I plan to give this book as a gift to other new parents.
