Summary: It is the best HTML book I have ever seen.
Review: After having the book for only a few days I have read almost the whole thing and applied to my site. It is simple to learn because it is actually in English. I have learned things that weren't in other HTML books. And the humor...what can I say?

Summary: Excellant Book for learning HTML
Review: I use this book at the Learning Institute of my company to teach HTML. It is very easy to understand for the beginner and is put together in a logical way. I did find 1 error in the book - page 31 - Correction should be JPEG stands for Joint Photograhic Experts Group

Summary: Best book available today for an introduction to HTML.
Review: I selected this book to be the text for "Introduction to HTML" at Cincinnati State and Technical College for the Winter, 1999, term. The language is friendly and encouraging and the examples are clear. It might be a little disconcerting for experienced HTML users to find tags, attributes, and values being called flags, commands, and sub-commands, but that is a minor thing in light of the generally appropriate level of treatment given most topics, and the many pointers to expanded materials on the web. The coverage is broad enough to give a solid foundation for anyone who wants to start putting content on the web.

Summary: This book is great!
Review: I never would have imagined that learning HTML could be so easy. With this book I was able to get a nice looking page up on the Web within about 2 days, without using a web page editor! Easy to read and understand, with a little bit of humor thrown in - this book is a great investment.

Summary: A Terrific Guide for Newbies and Oldies
Review: Joe Burns has one of the best tutorial sites on the web and now he's written a book that greatly compliments it. He writes in an informative and humorous manner and offers tons of techniques and tips that are not too techie sounding. I have been a long time fan of Joe Burns HTML Goodies website and now I'm a new fan of his book! You won't be sorry you spent your money this way!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great book for beginners and, er, intermediates.
Review: This is a terrific intro to doing HTML. I've used the site for a long time, and Joe's book makes it a lot easier to read the lessons and code at the same time. Highly recommended, and full of neat tricks.

Summary: Thank you Joe! Your HTML help is the best!
Review: I am a work at home mom whom went from no html knowledge to MUCH html knowledge with the help from Joe B's information. I still to this day referance his website whenever I need a refresher on something or want to learn something new. I started my site with a couple pages that was sadly lacking anything 'nice' about it to making that website into a huge site that has well over 100 pages in it and many daily visitors. Anytime someone asks me how I do that, or what's my favorite html site, I always refer them to your site. Thank you for helping me make my site
what it is today, I would'nt have turned it into a website business for this work at home mom without you! You have MUCH knowledge and I thank you for taking the time to share it with us!
