Rating: Summary: One of the better Exam Cram Books Review: After my experience with the Linux+ and Server+ Exam Crams I was ready to scrap this series all together. This book has partially restored my faith. I took the I-Net+ exam today and passed fairly easily and a good deal of the credit belongs to this book. About 30% of the material on my exam wasn't in this book but given that it is intended to be brief and concise, I feel that is acceptable. This should be a sufficient supplement to anyone looking to take this exam, provided you have a modest level of experience in the related technologies.

Rating: Summary: Good book to pass exam Review: Bottom Line: Read this book cover to cover and do the practice exams, and you will pass no problem. I say this given almost any skill level.
Rating: Summary: Used for both INET+ and CIW Foundations exam! Review: CompTIA has created a new stir in the computer industry with once again giving a certification that is vendor neutral and once again right in the heart of the IT profession. Coriolis has given everyone the opportunity to pass the new exam and this book makes short work of the exam.Compiling with every exam objective the Exam Cram for INET+ is the perfect study companion for your quest for success. The book includes a "Cram Sheet", exam questions, tips, hints and suggestions as well as need to know more sections. As with most Exam Cram books, this one is about 350 pages packed with pictures, diagrams and the essential information you'll need. Having taken the exam twice and passing the second time I know this book would have helped the first time around and saved me serious cash in the process. Costing $29.99, or one sixth of the exam price, this book is the first step. Stop wasting time, grab a copy and give yourself the best possible chance you won't be disappointed. Congratulations Coriolis on a job very well done. By the way I passed both exams with 90% or better using this book.
Rating: Summary: A Strong Tool for an Overview of Internet Technology Review: Conceptually well-organized, this book provides a fine overview of how the Internet works. It does a good job of explaining the multitude of acronyms that predominate Internet lingo. A glossary at the back further clarifies the extensive terminology that often baffles newcomers to the Net. The chapter tests and the main test at the book's end provide a gauge on readiness for the exam. Ideally, those serious about becoming Internet savvy will use this text as a prelude to the longer volume by the publisher to prepare for the exam. But, on its own, the exam cram version covers considerable territory.
Rating: Summary: i-Net+ Cert Exam Review: During my studying..I found 2 errors in the book...as in the past, I sent an E-mail the the mfg., This was approx. 3 weeks ago. I feel that this is enough time for a reply or aknowledgement. I would recommend alternative study material due to poor support from the mfg. of this material. Contents that where applicable to the i-Net+ exam where fair at best. The design of this book is for someone who has more knowledge than the author or reviewer, some material in the book was covered (which I appreciated); however, the most as most books should be directed towards a person at inter. level, not advanced. I passed the test with flying colors; however, little credit goes towards this book. Regards, Bruce_Freshwater@HotMail.Com
Rating: Summary: Good, even for the newer exam IK0-002 Review: Good exam prep for a pretty easy exam. Even tho its a bit outdated, it does the trick.
Rating: Summary: Best Prep for the exam! Review: I have read in its entirety another i-net+ book, and failed the exam, and I have glanced at the stores at several others, before deciding on this one. This IS the one! While its concise and to the point, it does not read like a bulleted outline. I was impressed with how they SPECIFICALLY target areas that were exactly on the test! What a great feeling to encounter test questions, and think back to the book and remember exactly how the book prepared me for the question. In retrospect its not a hard test, but I am new to "IT". Anyhow, i'm off to a another certification, and will definatley consider this series!
Rating: Summary: did the job perfectly Review: I just passed my i-net+ exam with a score of 95% thanks primarily to this book. The only other study material I used was practice tests on the web. This book covers all the material, and presents it in a way that works well with how compTIA will test you. The practice questions and practice test are very similiar in style, difficulty, and trickiness to the actual test. I'd even say the practice test was slightly harder. This is all you'll need to pass the i-net+, which is a great deal at twenty bucks.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: I used this book as my only study resource for the i-Net+ exam, and passed with flying colors. It is well written, covers the exam content very well, and has all the right practice questions. Highly recommended.
