Rating: Summary: The frantic student's friend! Review: This book covers the points of the I-net+ exam in a very fast-paced "Look, we already know you know some of this stuff, let's get over it quick and move on" manner! I'm heading out to take my test in a couple of weeks and I'm fairly confident I'm going to pass! The pretest in the back of the book and the testing at each chapter made me go back and check out the information I needed to brush up on so I can pass the first time I take the exam (and at 190 dollars a pop for the exam... getting it right the first time is important)! If you don't have the time to sit and read everything there ever was on the internet, pick up this book!
Rating: Summary: Outstanding book! Pass the Exam with Ease! Review: This book is very well written, and I believe coverd ALL the material that was on my exam. Most of the exam alerts sprinkled throughout the book were also exactly on the test! This book gets 5 stars for being small and to the point and for practically guaranteeing anyone to be able to pass this test the first time easily. Of course one of the best things about this book, is it TELLS you what you BETTER know and memorize (those little tidbits that few memorize in their daily work)! Hats off to the authors and the folks at Coriolis for another great cram!
Rating: Summary: Well written, concise, indispensable tool. Review: This book is well written and concise. It was a pleasure to read. I found it to be an indespensable tool for passing the exam. I liked the many references to further research given throughout the book. No CD, but the sample questions are well thought-out and helpful. I would give it 5 stars, but it has a few minor mistakes, which is a common occurrence with most technical books. I found that this small "Cram" book was more comprehensive and accurate than the larger I-Net+ Exam "Prep" book by Houser. Snaps to the authors for a job well done.
Rating: Summary: Great Format and Presentation...Strong Coverage of Topic Review: This book provides the content you need to pass the exam. The presentation is good and the information very accessible. The content coverage is probably only 90%, but none of the other books I read had complete coverage either.
Rating: Summary: A Helpful Book Review: This book was very much helpful when I was preparing for my I-Net+ Exam.Hope that it wiil help others too.
Rating: Summary: Good Book but not the best. Review: This book was very useful for my I Net+ exam. I passed it on the first try. The book is also useful for day to day looking up forgotten items. Agian a good book but not the best one, i passed with this book and one other I-Net + book. Two weeks with this book and you will be ready for the test.
Rating: Summary: Excellent study guide for i-Net+! Review: This is a truly excellent study guide. It breaks the exam objectives down into easily digestable chunks. It covers all the material you need to pass the i-Net+. I had previous experience and certifications so this was the only study guide I used to review for the i-Net+ exam. I passed easily. The sample questions in the book are right on target for the real exam. Best of luck in your studies!
Rating: Summary: Probably as good a choice as any. Review: This is the only book I read to prepare for the i-net+ and I barely passed the exam. The book was easy to read and provided a good overview, but the practice questions were much more straight-forward than the real exam questions were. Make sure you get practice questions off the internet so you're exposed to as many questions as possible. I would say no book could prepare you for all the questions and alot of your success depends on your real-world experience.

Rating: Summary: The only book you need Review: This is the only book you'll need to pass the i-Net+ exam. If you have absolutely no internet or networking experience, or never even logged many hours on the internet then perhaps you should purchase the i-Net+ exam prep. I have taken some college courses, and have done some coding so I was familar with the technologies involved. I prefered the exam cram over the exam prep, because it is very compact and to the point. This book has all the information you need to study for and pass the i-Net+ exam by comptia. I passed on my first try with 84%. I would recommend searching the web for free practice tests to give you an idea of where to focus your studying. The exam in chapter 16 gives you a good idea of how you'll do. If you read this book a few times and do some demo practice tests you will pass. I only gave this book 4 out 5 because it didn't come with a CD with practice tests. Hope this helps. Good luck. A.
