Summary: A wonderful cookbook!
Review: I've only had this book for a few days and I'm amazed! I've been looking for some new tofu recipes and there are a few great ones already. I feel like I'm eating out at a wonderful vegetarian restaurant every day! This book was a great find! It is completely dairy free as well, which my other cookbooks were not. Other cookbooks substitute a lot of cheese in place of meat. A must try is the almondaise, WOW!!! I have never tasted anything so good in my life! (It's a substitute for mayonaise)

Summary: YOUR HEALTH DEPENDS ON THIS BOOK!
Review: It opens your eyes to other ways to eat healthy. You don't have to eat dead animals to get protein. Even if you are not a vegeterian, it is a good book to open your world to other possibilities.

Summary: Thorough and Fun
Review: My copy of this book is stained and the binding is starting to split. I've had it for a few years and use it at least once a week. In addition to great vegan recipes (I particularly like the "stedda beef" and "stedda tuna" creations), Marilyn Diamond does a great job of discussing nutrition, cooking methods, and natural foods. Well worth the money. I have friends who went and bought this book just because I made a gravy from it when they were visiting!

Summary: For the hard-core vegetarian.
Review: Oh, thank you Marilyn. A vegetarian cookbook for the once non-vegetarian. Even my sons and husband love your recipes. After reading "The Initiation" by husband and Guru Dr. Donald Schnell, I had to know more. I had to know how to honor my body and mind. I had to know that the fuel my body was burning worked in conjunction with the way my mind was working. The only way to have pure and spiritual thoughts is to feed your body the same way you feed your mind. Reading The Initiation and having one of your desserts in the jacuzzi by candle light with my husband is the perfect way to spend the evening.

Summary: Great recipes, plus how to pick out ripe fruits and veggies
Review: Rick origianlly bought this cookbook many years ago because there is a small section in the back of the book that tells you how to pick out ripe fruits and good veggies. He never really used the cookbook. It just sat by his stove in his apartment in college. One day Donna wanted to make cookies. So she borrowed Rick's cookbook (and stove) and made a weird cookie the book called "Banana Chippers". They were great! Donna hasn't made all the recipes from this book yet. But every so often she tries a new one. And Rick still asks, "Wow is this from that cookbook I had forever and never used?". This is by far the best cookbook Donna has ever used. Most cookbooks she is lucky to find one or two recipes she likes. This book has tons of great recipes! And those "Banana Chippers"...they are still our favorite cookie.

Summary: WOW!
Review: The only cook book I have ever read cover to cover. Not only does it have fantastic recipies but the hints and information before each chapter are so interesting and helpful. The recipies in this book are becoming family favorites. I really LOVE the almondaise. And the deserts are to die for! If your looking for a way to eat healthy and still love the food this book is for you. But I must say I havent lost any weight yet, the food is sooooo good I cant stop eating. But I feel Great! My husband and I dont have heart burn any more, we sleep so much better and have more energy to make it through the day. His favorites are the juices, fruit and vegtable. Thank You so much Marilyn!

Summary: it change your life!
Review: This book introduced me to the concept of eating healthy. I purchased it 4 years ago, and still refer back to it. There is nothing like a dairy free banana milk shake! It opened up a new world for me, and I continue on the path to eating a more and more healthful diet. Thanks to Marilyn for making it soooo easy!

I enjoyed this book as much as I enjoy my new beverage of choice. Made from 100% organic soy, taste just like coffee and no caffeine. Finally, I got rid of that wired up feeling all day and feeling great. Look for it on the net by googling "s o yfee".

Summary: Excellent!
Review: This book is full of excellent, tasty, healthful recipes based on many, many decades of well-documented and enormously successful research and true practical results - not to mention Marilyn's extensive cullinary experience and skills. Even if you are only looking for great vegetarian recipes, this is the book for you!

Don't let the cynical, unfounded personal bias and incorrect statements of one person (the reader from Oceanside) spoil your desire for the great food ideas presented in this great cookbook!

If you have the desire to find out more about food combination and natural hygiene and you are just starting out, Harvey and Marilyn Diamond's Fit for Life and Fit for Life II (much more revealing) are also great choices to go along with Marilyn's cookbook. I would urge, as they do, that you read the extremely common-sense, well documented, and well proven facts presented in all of these books and decide for yourself the value of their advice and counsel concerning your health.

Summary: Healthy and Tasty
Review: This is a great book which has given me a lot of ideas for meals. The recipes are based on lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Are all vegan, tasty and good for you! I love the different salads and fresh fruit dishes.
