Summary: The best vegetarian cookbook I've seen!
Review: This is a great vegetarian and diary-free cookbook.I really like the ease of the recipes and the easy-to-find ingredients. It also is a good reference for pantry staples, basic cooking techniques and vegetarian nutrition principles.I've even got my die-hard "meat and potatoes" husband to try some of the dishes (PS:HE LOVED THEM!!).This is the only cookbook that makes me LOOK FORWARD to cooking!

Summary: Great wholesome, delicious recipes...
Review: This is a wonderful book for anyone wanting to add whole foods to their diet. This book is equipped with all the info you need to get started from tips on how to stock your kitchen, how to use ingredients that might be unfamiliar to you, how to replace animal ingredients, to delicious recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and desserts. For those of you who love to READ cookboks like they are novels, this is one you can't put down. Excellent info and descriptions of each recipe and advice on how to serve it or what to serve it with. Omnivore hubby has loved just about everything i have made from this cookbook. A must for all kitchens trying to make a difference with healthier eating.

Summary: Missing It
Review: This is my favorite cookbook. I enjoyed it so much and knew that my sister would like it also, so I loaned it to her and she liked it so much that she kept it longer than planned. Then my family moved to another state and I left my favorite cookbook with my sister. It has been on my mind ever since and now I am ordering a new one because I just can't be without it any longer. This cookbook is great for people that have problems with indigestion and want to cut out the dairy and meat from their diet. The food combining really works!! I have lost weight slowly over a period of time just by eating fruit in the mornings and I feel great! I highly recommend this book for anyone that doesn't want another diet in their lives, but wants to enhance their health and their lives by making positive choices in the foods that they eat. This book will guide you.

Summary: A must for every vegetarians/vegans pantry!
Review: When looking for a good vegetarian cookbook containing not only well balanced recipies, but delicious as well, The American Vegetarian Cookbook is one of the better ones on the market.

I have found that all of the recipies in this book which I have made, every single one has fulfiled my descriminating tastebuds! Some of the better recipies are the 'Fooled you brownies' (a well versed chocaholic said that they were very good!), Steda Tuna, Vegetable Tsimis and the Living Food Pies, (I especially like the peanutbutter bannana pie!)
