Summary: Former democrat.
Review: Unlike all of the liberals who have posted reviews, I actually bought my book (with my own money) and read it. I have to say that I enjoy the breath of fresh air from the right, and the squeels of protest from the left. Tsk Tsk, such hatred the left has for anyone who dares speak against them. Look at the reviews from the liberals. 90% are filled with name calling and bashing. I guess the left wing is not used to being questioned, and goes crazy when it happens on a national scale. I personally love it when they call W, Hannity, Rush et al "liars". FUNNY, where where you for the previous 8 years!

Summary: It's Sean's World. We just live here
Review: We should be united after September 11, but Hannity likes to divide Americans into "us and them" categories.

"Us" is those who agree with Hannity. The ultra right wing, pious Christian who doesn't question anything our commander in chief wants to do, no matter how morally warped that might be.

"Them" is anybody who has a slightly different opinion. Or, anybody who dares to question the administration. This is especially telling since the Clinton years saw Hannity, et al launch into anti-Clinton diatribes that make Michael Moore's comments on Dubya seem like a love letter by comparison.

So, let freedom ring? Ring for who? Only those who Sean thinks it should ring for? Hannity usually comes dangerously close to telling those who disagree with him to go back to Iraq. So much for believing in the First Amendment.

If Lincoln knew what Hannity, Coulter, Limbaugh, Shrub, etc has done to the Republican party and conservative politics, he'd roll over in his grave.

Summary: Strong entry into the print field
Review: What a surpise. Like any work of political non-fiction, half the people give this book 5 stars and half give it 1. Can we put partisan politics aside- if you don't like what Hannity has to say, don't post a review. I doubt you even read the book. The same goes for Republicans, don't unnecessarily trash Al Franken's stuff when you didn't read the book. Let's get fair evaluations.

As for Hannity's tome, it was a good read. I considered Ann Coulter's "Slander" better, but this is also a good book for those wanting to saturate themselves in the conservative mantra.

Summary: What a bunch of garbage
Review: One reviewer said "He brings the same informed, intelligent, and consistent style to his book". Informed?? Intelligent?? Try looking for facts and you find him lacking. Try looking for the truth and you only find half truths. Yes, he is consistent. Reading this book is like listening to his radio show, not a lot of substance but a great deal of "I'm right so you must be wrong". Don't waste your money on this.

Summary: What claptrap Mr Inanity
Review: Beware of those who wrap themselves around the flag proclaiming to be patriots. Most patriots do not go around waving the flag for that is the easy way and so it is Mr. Inanity's way. Mr. Inanity writes a book for profit. Mr. Inanity if you are a true patriot, you would volunteer for the military and serve your country. But no, Mr. Inanity is too good for that. Better to write another book of inane jottings than do the work of a real patriot and serve your country.

Summary: A Little learning is a dangerous thing
Review: A Little learning is a dangerous thing... so said Alexander Pope. Applies to morons like Hannity.

Summary: Counting down
Review: Read much more than this. Read those parts of the Bible describing the destruction of Babylon and work out the following - if the neocons are right, and Christ's return is imminent, then what is the identity of this bizarre entity? I don't think it can be that sandy heap somewhere in the south of Iraq, gentlemen?

Apart from this, I love the word Liberty. Its such a trap - it is daily leading people into damnation and perdition - and it's only a single word. Liberty to the captives perhaps? This was used exclusively by Christ to describe the release of people from sin and condemnation into (genuine) Liberty.

(genuine) Liberty was also used as a descriptive word in the old testament device of the "Jubilee", a hebrew tradition, sadly rarely followed,of cancelling debts, freeing slaves, and restoring land to the poor inheritors.

This isn't the Liberty of this book. This is liberty to trade. To invade other sovereign nations, and to kill Christians of other countries (El Salvador, Chile, etc), for instance. Liberty to broadcast heretical, damaged commercial tripe in the name of Jesus. Liberty to rewrite history and pervert institutions of learning (the film on the rescue of the Enigma Machine from a U boat LONG before america entered the war is the smallest example). Liberty to finance a European war involving an evil dictator. And a middle eastern war with an evil dictator. And a central American war with evil dictators. All on the wrong side. Liberty to juice poor people out of health and security in their old age. Liberty to finance psychotropic drug research.

I can do without that. Hell is one breath away, one heartbeat away. Counting down.

Summary: Dear god, such claptrap.
Review: Wow. This one is dreadful. At least Talib-Ann Coulterhas the benefit of being enetertaining in her fiction. Hannity is just overly earnest and underly-informed or verified.

Summary: SCUM BAG
Review: Sean Hannity is a scum bag. He and people like him must be obliterated for the evolution of american ideology to continue to progress. Hannity is a fake patriot. Cowardly people hide behind the flag and continue to proclaim their love for a country that has many flaws. If you have a brain it would be best to skip this. Staring blankly at a wall would be time better spent than reading this JUNK!

Summary: I loved this book!!!!! Until...........
Review: I was stoked when I saw the cover. He seemed to be looking right at me.AND ME only. His gaze seemed to say," Hey there big guy, pick me up. Lets go home together". The implicit come on was just too strong to resist,I ordered the book. Upon its arrival,I started reading the text within the spine of this tome and what did I find? A scathing invective. I'm soooo disappointed. I felt betrayed. This book unfortunately let this cowboy down. I think Hannity is in denial.
