Summary: A Great Book!
Review: This is the best humor book since most of the Calvin and Hobbes. There are some great lines like "American Troops ordered to pull out of 14 Vietnamese Peasant," and "Ottoman Empire Almost Declares War on it's Self." It is a great book. Buy it.

Summary: Brutally hilarious!
Review: I just read this book at the beach and could not tear myself away from it for three days running! A gleefully satiric and unapologetically brutal look at the ugly truth behind a century of news. It might be offensive if reality weren't ten times more so! A brilliant, acidic parody.

Summary: The Funniest American Book to come out of Our Dumb Century
Review: Funniest book I have read in years. The headlines alone will make you laugh untill tears are streaming down your face and the people around you are staring. Some of My favorite headlines: September 3, 1939: "WA-" (Headline continued on page 2) December 10, 1936: "FDR Rummages Through Parents House to 'See if There's Anything America Could Use'" April 4, 1965: "Sanford, Son Killed in Watts Rioting" July 21, 1969: "HOLY S***! MAN WALKS ON THE F****** MOON!" and so so much more. Just buy the book. You will not regret it. Buy the new one by the New York Times too, featuring all the real front pages. They make a nice interesting contrast.

Summary: Darn Funny
Review: This blows all other political satires out of the wate

Summary: Hilarious...
Review: I have long awaited this release and I was definately not let down. Articles such as "Michael Jordan Shot For His Sneakers" and "Drugs Win War On Drugs" left me in stiches. The "Teeny Baby" article was ill even for the onion. Hilarious though! You'll have to get this one to see what I am talking about.

Summary: Painfully funny, eternally enjoyable
Review: There is so much incredibly funny stuff in this book, that every time I flip through I find something that has me howling. It's the absolute perfect coffee table or bathroom book. And it's been a wonderful gift for people who have a sense of humor.

Summary: Type too small!
Review: Yes, it's brilliant and hilarious. The type is too small. Period. In order to try to be authentic in parodizing old newspaper styles, they have made it physically difficult to read. If your eyes are good enough to get past that, then it's great. Take it in small doses, as the humor wears off before too long, and you need to step away for a day or two to appreciate more of it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: print possibly too small for older readers
Review: This book is a good one. I had hoped to buy it as a birthday gift for my father. Born in 1923, he would probably be able to "get" most of the jokes. However, the type is very small, so I will probably not do that, unless I buy a magnifying glass to go with it.

Summary: The Onion makes you cry!
Review: Everyone knows to not drink and drive, but if you have any thing to do during the day you should also not read and work. The Onion will prevent you from leaving your seat as you will be glued to it's contentst. Once I cut into the book I could not stop sheading happy tears. Breathing was also difficult. Highest possible recomendation.
