Rating: Summary: Taking Diamonds From The Dirt Review: I have read this book and the gems of wisdom are so prevalent - I just had to comment! Curiously enough, the negative reviews in this site piqued my curiosity - and instead of shallowness, vanity or "dish" I found real honesty and human being speaking of the value of "getting real" with mistakes made in life and learning from them. The best way to describe this book is a series of redemtive lessons and a transformation to love and care for others and life. Thank you Tylo family for being so candid. Hunter also has a wonderful charity called Hunter's Chosen Child! Look for those diamonds in the dirt...
Rating: Summary: Hunter Tylo......Excellent Book! Review: I love to read great books and when I read this book, I thought, it has been a long time since I read a book so real, heart felt, and most of all spiritual! The book makes you feel like this is someone you know personally! I really thought alot about some of the issues that were raised about the law suit and how we still continue to deal with and fight the battles of the past. The best part of the book was the story involving the baby. Those chapters were very heartfelt and Spiritually inspiring! I was drawn deep into the book from beginning to end. Excellent!
Rating: Summary: Thought provoking Review: I loved this candid account of Hunter Tylo's struggles, harsh realities and sincere honesty. This is a must read for anyone interested in a person triumphing over adversity. Walk with this incredible woman as she goes through the fire to come out on the other side. Hunter Tylo is truely a woman of integrity. God Bless her life.
Rating: Summary: Still don't like her! Review: I never really cared much for the Tylos, but after her case against Spelling & the unfortunate tragedy that took place regarding her daughter's cancer, I believed both Hunter & her husband deserved "another chance". Boy am I sorry, I gave them one. While I applaud her for having the courage to sue Spelling & truly hope all goes well for her daughter, I find it hard to sympathize with her and find her attitude as that of some one who believes every one around her is out to get her & that she is a "victim" - that she has done all she can to forgive - The rest is up to them. Look at her best friend, and the famous actors whom she rehearsed with & claimed were interested in nothing but getting her "onto the couch"! How arrogant! She spends 3/4 of the book discussing sex, drinking & beauty & shares approx 2 chapters on her beautiful daughter. There is page after page of Hunter pix and only three with her children (the most recent w/her sons is several years old). Any true Hunter fan who loves her as much as she loves herself will love this book - any one else will be shaking their heads in disbelief & disgust!
Rating: Summary: Very Interesting and Hard to Put Down Review: I read this book in like two days! That is how good it was. You won't want to put it down. It was well worth the price. Hunter Tylo is one beautiful, determined, strong, and VERY fascinating woman."Miracle" explores (in depth) everything from her childhood in TX,start in show business,to her Melrose Pl. Trial for Pregnancy Discrimination. I found much of the book shocking, revealing and even so inspiring. Other points in the book had me moved to tears, like her Mother's negativity toward her, her breakup with her husband and her sweet baby's battle against cancer. The book was really gripping, almost as addictive as chocolate!
Rating: Summary: Making A Miracle Review: I really can't believe the person writing this book is Hunter Tylo. The jealousy the drinking the affair.I am glad she turned to God.I actually cried through most of this book especially the battle of Katya's cancer and the strenghth she and her family have.I have been waiting for this book for a year and I was not disappointed at all.Good luck to Hunter and her family in everything they do and go through.
Rating: Summary: I loved this book Review: I really enjoyed reading Hunter Tylo's story. I've always admired her, and I found that she was very open and honest in telling her story, even about the difficult and personal parts. It is very intimate and friendly, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to read a really honest book by a celebrity.
Rating: Summary: There Are Many More Worthwhile Biographies Review: I thought this book was poorly written, poorly edited and very shallow. The self-centeredness of the principles portrayed shows me the victims are the Tylo's four children. There are many other better written and more worthwhile biographies out there.
Rating: Summary: Don't Want To Judge But... Review: I try never to judge others, but Hunter Tylo has put herself in a position to be judged by writing this book about herself. END
Rating: Summary: It's All Been Said Review: I was shocked and appalled by this book, then saddened. The only thing I would add about this book is that the writing is poor.
