Summary: one the best book ive read
Review: This is one of the best books ive read in a long time. I spend alot of time reading anything i can get my hands on and although i enjoy reading its been awhile since i can honestly say WOW that was an awesome book that i would highly reccomend. Ive read all of Pattersons books and likes them. This one is dirrerent in that its not the suspense type he usually writes.However i wish he would write more like this one its by far my favorite. If you have ever truly been in love in you life time and/or have ever felt loss then you will love this book. However if you have never been in love then you wont relate, simple as that.

Summary: Cor ny, cor ny, cor ny!
Review: Although this book did keep some interest to read it fairly quickly; I still thought it was the corniest book I ever did read. It is about a mother writing to her son, a mere baby; yet she is writing about the first time she and his father were passionate. What child would want to read about their parents doing that?????? He continually wrote one particular line: Suzanne, Nicholas, and Matt forever. I felt like I was reading some highschool yearbook. I couldn't get over the fact that a man wrote all this mushy nonsense. The only reason I did not give this only one star was because it wasn't completely boring; just not very good either. I do not recommend this book unless you enjoy a dorky kind of mushy goofy romance.

Summary: not your typical James Patterson
Review: For those who are thinking of reading this book because you've read his other spell-binding mysteries Pop Goes the Weasel, Roses Are Red or 1st To Die, stop right here and move on to another book. For those who are looking for a change of pace and a quick no-thought-required read, this might just be the book you are seeking. James Patterson is an excellent writer. He is like a chameleon and this book proves that. He makes the seamless switch from mystery writer to romance writer.Personally, I don't really like most romance novels, but Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, was a refreshing change of pace. The protagonist, Katie Wilkinson, is dumped by Matt just when she thinks he is going to propose. The next day, she finds that he has left a diary for her to read in the hopes that it will explain things. Things get a little confusing in places because there are two Matt's in the diary. In the end though, Katie does realize where Matt is coming from and the reader is left searching for a tissue. If you want something different and have enjoyed novels by authors such as Robert Waller (Bridges of Madison County) and Nicholas Sparks (Message in a Bottle, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook), then give this book a try. If not, keep looking.

Summary: Will the real James Patterson please stand up!
Review: Wow! I bought the book for my Father-in-law who has been reading James Patterson books for the last 2 years. Maybe to kill 3 hours and while away my time before a 12-hour flight back to Manila from Paris, I pored through the book knowing the popularity of JP books, some of which I saw on film. I finished the book in 2 hours and realized in the end that it was a waste of time. I should have slept in the airport lounge and could have come out fully rested. First, the storyline was not original. Second, the names were very confusing, 2 Matts in one book???? Third, what's with all the italicized words? Fourth, what happened to Children Rhymes and limericks of love for titles? I really believe Mr. Patterson submitted his daughter's work to his editor and got away with it. tsk tsk tsk. I don't think I will even give it to my father-in-law who I love so much. I might get his ire....

Summary: Worse Book I've Ever Read
Review: This has to be the worse book I've ever read. Someone paid James Patterson a lot of money for this drivel. It is not only sappy and unrealistic, it is also so very badly written. Worse than a first novel - my 10 year old niece writes stories with more depth. My theory is that James Patterson made a bet with someone that he could write a romantic book from a woman's point of view that would be a bestseller, and that he won his bet and is laughing at us. The fact that this is a bestseller is extremely discouraging.

Summary: Quick read...even for slow, detail-oriented readers like me!
Review: It's been a long time since I've read a book in one or two sittings. The pages just flew by...I couldn't put it down. The story unfolded the same way a conversation with your best friend would unfold over coffee...pretty soon you're emotionally involved in the story and you haven't even noticed that three hours passed by. I removed one star, because I am not into cheesy romance novels and this book had a few lovey-dovey passages that made me roll my eyes (they're in love, I get it!). Overall, it was a great book & worth the money and time!

Review: I've read alot of love stories.. all by women authors."Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" is positively the best one ever. James Patterson absolutly outdone himself on this one. I loved this book more than I can ever express. It's the one book by James Patterson that I shall treasure for a lifetime. I seriously suggest this book to anyone. It's wonderful.

Summary: Patterson does it again...and makes me cry....
Review: I got this novel for Christmas & I read it in one sitting on a snowy day in January. This book was such a fast reading one, powerful and emotional. I feel like I knew Katie, Matt, Suzanne, and Nicholas. If there is a Patterson novel that needs to be screenwritten as a movie, this would be the one. Great job, Patterson!

Review: It is truelly an amazing book...Mr. Patterson is brilliant..you become involved with each characters pain and frustration. Although, I knew what the ending would be I still enjoyed the twists he added.

Review: For James Patterson to leave his normal suspense mode and dive into something this emotionally haunting...and do it so well...keeps me reading anything and everything his name is associated with. The story so was not what I was expecting and I cried every time I thought of it. Even my elderly father was touched by the story...and that never happens. Outstanding writing by Mr. Patterson...and if there is one book that I would recommend to everyone, it's this one.
