Summary: o.k read, good plot, and unreal situations
Review: i mostly like Zane because of her realism. she doesn't write books "to far off to the left" where the average reader can't relate. but this definitley was. the characters are surely believable however the situations were just unreal. especially the ending. but it was a good plot and good characters so check it out when you have the time, but it's not one of Zanes "must reads"!

Summary: Note to self: Don't Ever Do that Again!
Review: I read this book because I'd heard so many good things about Zane. I won't repeat all of the other reviewers word for word, but my goodness, the characters had NO depth, no spirit, no nothing (Oh, except for consistently stimulated genitals and a lack of self-respect)! Now, I know that it's nearly impossible to tell a story that hasn't been told before, but I was predicting this story before its ending and even when things started happening, I was yawning. It was WAY too predictable, boring, diluted(...). I'll never pick it--or any other Zane novel for that matter--up again. It doesn't deserve one star, maybe .5 stars for it being printed.

Summary: Too Hott
Review: I really enjoyed this one Zane! Chico was the man and in the end he really turned out to be the man! Zane has really outdone herself with this one, it was a very interesting read and I could not put it down. I was very glad that in the end the people I despised the most through the beginning did not get the last laugh, the joke was on them! Keep on doing your thing Zane and I can't wait to see what Chocolate Flava brings! HMMMM

Summary: Very disappointed
Review: I usually enjoy Zane's novels, but Skyscraper felt very rushed. The characters were undeveloped and boring. The ending was anticlimatic and slow. Hopefully the next novel will be better.

Summary: It's no better or worse than an episode of DYNASTY!
Review: I won't be quite as scathing as a fellow reviewer that gave the book only one star. This is the first of its kind that I have read and I must read another by Zane to fully assess her writing skill.

The book is extremely entertaining if one suspends belief that company executives, their spouses, and their respective lackeys behave in such a blatantly sexual manner.

Why, the book is basically one "romp" after the other, culminating with an implausible denouement.

But, it is fun and smoldering getting to the novel's "resolution".

To be honest, I tried my hand at writing a smoking sex novel some years ago...with some of the same language and "encounters"...

However, I was only sixteen at the time!

Summary: You Can Do Better Zane
Review: I've read some of Zane's other books and while I don't find her to be the greatest writer, she does write entertaining stories. However this one was so poorly written. I couldn't empathize with the characters because they were so one dimensional and pathetic. The climax was ridiculous and I just felt cheated by the time the story was over. I'm glad I bought it used for under $10.

Review: It was ok, it wasn't Zane's best

Summary: This Book is Good
Review: Now i dont know about some of the other reviewers but this book is a good read. its a page turner just because we want to see how
all the stories are brought together in the end. my major problem
is that the Diana and Edmond part seemed as if it were just thrown in there. but i still enjoyed the book....

Summary: She Does It Again
Review: Now we as readers have come to expect a certain amount of talent from Zane, and in Skyscraper she DOES NOT LET US DOWN!! Zane writes with the same style and enthusiasm that drew us in, captured, and has had a tight hold on our support since book one!! Skyscraper is a FANtastic read!!!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Mixed feelings
Review: SKYSCRAPER made me want to read another Zane novel. It kept me interested and reads well. She has talent, no doubt. It's good fiction especially since a lot of the things that happen in the book are unrealistic.

I have to give Zane plenty of ^5 for being able to sell books...even if they're not all that great of a read. She did good with SKYSCRAPER. Better than she did with NERVOUS, SISTERS OF APF AND SC2, in my opinion. I enjoyed it because it wasn't redundant like I've found the other three (I've mentioned) to be. Her sex scenes keep the readers reading and according to her, have "sexually liberated" many. Kudos for that, and for tapping into a market with your "keeping it real" style of writing.
