Summary: Disappointing
Review: This is one of the worst books I have ever had the misfortune to read. I liked the idea of the story but the writing was horrible. This was obviously Rollins first novel. The romance which developed between Ben and Ashley was painfully obvious. Not much creativity in this one. If you like to read a lot of boring sentences that start off with, and then he....but luckily....fortunately it....blah blah blah.

Summary: A must read
Review: I could say alot about the creativity, imagination and research invested in this book. However I'll make my review brief by saying, "I simply could not put it down".

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A good read. When can we expect the sequel... or prequel?
Review: Interesting book. Very hard to put down once I got past the first chapter. I think whoever wrote the Book Description on the back of the book should be flogged, it does the story absolutely no justice. If I had read that description at the bookstore, I'd never had bought the book. Luckily, the book was a gift, so I didn't miss out on such a good book. I wonder if the person that wrote the description even read the book?

Summary: You feel as if your really there. EXCELLENT!!!!
Review: For Mr. Rollins first novel, I must commend him on a well written piece of work. Not one to read this type of material; it held my interest and kept me wanting more. Fascinating descriptives throughout the whole content of book. It made me think I was actually there watching this unfold right before my eyes. I did not want the "story" to end. Bravo Mr. Rollins

Summary: Couldn't put it down
Review: I finished this book in a matter of hours. I couldn't put it down. The whole idea of an underground civilization is incredible (Yes I have seen other books and stories that do it but not at this level.) I especially enjoyed how he showed the symbiotic relationship between the creatures and the natives. A must read.

Summary: One of the best books I have ever read!
Review: I read this book in four days! It had a wonderful plot and great characters that stay with you. I would recomend this book to everyone I know. There is nothing about this book that I don't like. It is wonderful in every way. If you want a quick page-turner that keeps you reading, then Subterranean is for you!

Summary: Horrible! No, not the situation, the book!
Review: Wow. I had seen this book, beckoning from the shelves, for weeks. It looked great... I read the back cover and was intrigued, so I finally bought it, took it home, and was completely disappointed. Thinly drawn characters, atrocious technical detail (since when does the Navy use the rank of Major, and what the hell is a CAR-1 carbine?), a horribly written and paced "romantic" subplot, and an overly cute little kid that I wanted to drown make this one of the worst books I've had the misfortune of reading this summer. I was looking for a modern take on Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth. What I got was a mishmash of ideas, settings, and characters that didn't hang together properly. Mr. Rollins, on the bright side, has some talent as a writer. Here's hoping he gets a better editor for his next book, whatever it may be.

Summary: It is a great book. I hope James Rolling reads this
Review: It is one you can not put down once you start to read it. It is never slow and you never know what is going to happen next. I hate a book when I know what the end is going to be like half way though it. It is a excellent book and I hope James Rolling writes more. My mother loved it and my Daughter loved it. Keep up the good work James Rolling!!!!!!!!

Summary: a real page turner!
Review: A great read, entertaining using likable characters, lots of action. Limited graphic language was appreciated.I hope the author continues to write adventure novels of this nature!
