Summary: Great book
Review: Who ever reads this book won't be able to put it down. James Rollins writes a great story that I think you will really enjoy. It only took me a few days to read it, and I could not put it down. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Give it a try....Giovanni

Summary: awesome underground adventure!
Review: This is a very fine adventure book in the tradition of "Jurrassic park", but in my estimation - much better! This should be turned into a movie at once. It has everything in a good book should - good characters (good and bad), scary beasts of all kinds, fast-paced adventure, and colorful detail of an awesome new world in the unlikliest of places. Bravo to this new author on a great and satisfying 1st novel. I'm surprised its not on the New York Times bestseller list, because it should be! I hope Mr. Rollins keeps up the good work and writes another novel in this high caliber way. This book deserves a sequel, hint...hint... I will reccommend this book to all of my friends and family. And for you out there - go for it!!!

Summary: Easily the best book I've read this year
Review: A great book that has the makings of a hollywood blockbuster if given the cast, directing, and special effects that it deserves. I hope his next book will be on par with this one.

Summary: Exciting new author arrives on the scene
Review: James Rollins is a fine new author. I wouldnt even try to compare "Subterranean" to "Journey to the Center of the Earth". An entirely different era, add modern technology, an obvious knowledge of the subject (cave exploration) to a tense semi-scifi adventure yarn, throw in a little romance and fantasy, and you have a whole new genre. I enjoyed this book immensely and read it in one day. Sincerely hope new books by this author will be forthcoming.

Summary: Really a fun read.
Review: I really enjoyed reading this. I had braced myself to be disappointed by this but found myself unable to put it down. I can't wait for his next novel.

Summary: Another good movie-script-in-book-form thriller
Review: I was hoping for a real Hollow Earth story, but even though this just takes place in some enormous tunnels and caverns, it's a good underground thriller. The gimmick is a nice one and quite entertaining. The writing is fairly crisp, but like many modern thrillers it's really a movie script in book form, fleshed out with a little extra description. Still, it's a fine read for a long bus trip or while relaxing at the beach.

Don't forget Verne's Journey to the Centre of the Earth or Rucker's The Hollow Earth if you like this sort of thing.

Summary: Worth every dime!
Review: Held my attention from the very start to the last word on the page. Worth every dine and min. spent reading it.......

Summary: This was a very good read.
Review: This was a great book. My dad told me how good it was, and of course I didn't believe him, but no sooner had I started reading it than I realized he was right. I was disappointed that there were no other books written by Rollins, as I have not found a book that good in years.

Summary: A underground Jurassic Park that keeps you up all night!
Review: This story could have been written by Koontz or Crichton. It kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put it down. I have read quite a few thrillers in my time and this would be on the preferred list. James Rollins is quite impressive for a new writer. If his future stories are even close to this, he will have a fan for life. It's a book I would recommend for any one who wants to step into a different world filled with adventure and mystery that makes sense as the story unfolds. I also think it would make a great Movie!
