Summary: Half way through and I'm hooked
Review: I got interested in this book by nothing more than a rumour. It said that there was a film coming out about a boy who thought that it would be a good idea if people did a good thing without any more wish than it being passed on. So I bought the book. I live in London, England, and each day get shoved, pushed, ignored or worse. I started reading and wasn't sure whether I actually liked the style - but stuck with it. By the end of the journey on the tube-train I wanted to walk down the street reading it just to find out what happens. As I said, I'm only half-way through the book, but have bought a bookmark rather than fold the corners down. I've even started putting my loose change in charity boxes - small start, but hey - you never know!

Summary: Pass It On
Review: A family member recommended this book to me. I just finished reading it and was so full of emotions. I plan to pass on to the next family member to enjoy and hopefully they will continue to pass it on.

Summary: Pay It Forward book
Review: I know you are thinking that I am young and would'nt understand it like adults would, but I am telling you this, I do ,and this is a good book. It was so kind that a boy like that could make up such a wonderful idea. Think how great this world would be if everyone Paid it forward. Also, at the end their is a shocking ending that just makes you cry your eyes out. I definately reccomened this book to all.

Summary: A Plan To Change The World
Review: Who would have thought a 12 year old boy would transform the world through a simple yet challenging extra credit school project? I would guess not many people, but it is true. This story is a touching and inspiring example of how hope and forgiveness can transform one's ordinary and even painful life into a meaningful and fulfilling one. The school boy, Trevor begins by doing local good deeds for three people, which turns into a way of being for many people around the country in becoming kinder and doing good deeds for others.

If you enjoyed this book, I highly recommend another inspiring book called "WORKING ON YOURSELF DOESN"T WORK" by Ariel and Shya Kane. I have found this book to be a practical and powerful guide for lasting personal transformation in my own life. The Kanes also have some great audio tapes, such as "The Roots of Satisfaction."

Summary: Wouldn't it be wonderful....
Review: I loved this book - when I was done, after the tears had dried, I thought - wouldn't it be wonderful if this really happened? Whatever happened to the American values to helping each other? If everyone who reads this book "pays it forward", can you imagine what the world would be like? I'd doing this - how about you?

Summary: MUST READ
Review: I RAN ACROSS THIS BOOK WHILE BROWSING THROUGH THE LOCAL LIBRARY FOR A "GOOD, WHOLESOME BOOK". THIS ONE CAUGHT MY EYE. AND I MUST SAY I DEFINITELY WAS A GOOD BOOK. THE CHARACTERS AND THE STORY LINE WAS GREAT. THE END WAS SAD, BUT THE MEANING WAS VERY CLEAR. I AM SKEPTICAL ABOUT SEEING THE MOVIE.

Summary: A booster shot for the world
Review: Moving, inspiring, and immensely readable.

In additon to the simple but powerful message and movement of Paying it Forward, what I found equally interesting was the insight on human behaivor, specifically about how we see and treat others, but more importantly see and treat ourselves.

A must read for all.

Summary: One of the best!
Review: I read "Pay it Forward" last week. I ADORED IT! I am an avid book reader, so when I saw this, I checked it out. I was hooked by the first few pages. The detail was outstanding. Ms. Hyde's characters were very animated, from Trevor, to Mrs. Greenberg. Each had an individual personality that shined. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves reading stories from the heart.

Review: This is the book my family and friends are getting for Christmas! It's a joy to find a book that makes you laugh and cry but to find a book that gives you hope for a better world and inspiration that you too can make a difference is exceptional. If you are reading this review you already know the story so I won't elaborate on it but I will warn you this book could change your life and you will be so glad it did. Let's hope the all star cast doesn't put people off seeing the film and if the film is half as good as the book expect Oscars allround! You can not be disappointed by this book so buy it now and proudly be the one to tell your friends about it!

Summary: Great Story, But............
Review: The story itself was very moving. I won't give the end, but I wondered why so sadistic? It seemed like writing a bad ending probably seemed like a good idea, because the author thought it would be more realistic; actually it seemed more contrived and purposely done, than if it was written happily ever after. And I wonder why they chose to use Kevin Spacey, instead of say, Denzel Washington, or the like......... the main character in the book is Afro-American. Go figure.
