Summary: I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!!1
Review: I hope that Mr. Cobb continues with the saga of Amanda Garrett. With some of the other characters and ideas already showing in hints in all three books of the series, it seems that there is room for many more of her adventures. I wish Mr. Cobb could write faster, but I am willing to wait for the good book. I am sure the wait will be worth it. Please, keep working Mr. Cobb. We are eagerly awaiting your results.

Summary: I greatly enjoyed this book and I'm waiting for the next one
Review: I action and suspense kept me going to the point that I didn't want to put it down. I enjoy how Mr. Cobb writes and I am waiting for the next book that he puts out.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Entertaining but typical "John Wayne" story
Review: I am a strange lady, I admit that. I love military combat novels almost as much as I love Romance novels. And when a writer combines the two (even if its on the extreme edge of the category) I am in heaven. Mr. Cobb's Sea Strike was wonderful, I loved the way he describes the scenes, the battles, the characters everything. Sea Strike is one of those books that you find yourself up in the middle of the night reading while steadily telling yourself, "just 5 more minutes and then I will put it down, just 5 more minutes." He reminds you of W.E.B. Griffin and Tom Clancy. If you like action adventure and characters you can identify with, plus plausible 'it could really happen' plots, you will love James Cobb.

Summary: Grand Book
Review: I believe that the action in this book is better than in the first book. I also like how the characters interacted. My only question is is there going to be a sequel? Military fiction fans should read these two books.

Summary: needs a navy advisor
Review: I can't finish this book. Great character development, good interaction, pace of the action is appropriate. But the technical errors make it unreadable. This isn't just Tom Clancy's blunder of having an H-2 hover launch a torp in 'Red October', this is goof after goof after goof. I already ran out of sticky-notes, and barely got past midway. Too bad, likeable crew on the boat.

Summary: A Great Navy Thriller
Review: I enjoyed Sea Strike and Choosers of the Slain so much, I logged onto Amazon.com to find out when the next in the series will be released.

Summary: An excellant "I'm on the ship" tale
Review: I just finished both Sea Strike and Choosers of the Slain and Cobb has a wonderful abilty to put me on the bridge of the Duke. These were great books and I hope to see others to follow.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: a great read
Review: I loved the technical detail (I read the other rev. where it has a lot of nits- would love to see a list. Maybe future-tech gives some wiggle room with inaccuracies? Still, I got all hot and bothered with the descriptions). Call me an old fashioned girl though, the romance does not belong on board with someone under her command nonetheless. Thankfully, it was fairly understated and only distracted briefly once they were onboard and on the hunt.
