Rating: Summary: Superbly written overview of the FACTS regarding Hillary. Review: Barbara Olson has produced a book that finally does what the mainstream media establishment refuses to do to this day: Strip away the hype and the spin surrounding Mrs. Clinton and her supposed "accomplishments." Far from being a hopelessly biased diatribe against Hillary Rodham, as some have claimed, this book is a carefully documented analysis of the woman who would be President of the United States. If the American public would spend more time informing THEMSELVES about political figures, as in reading books like this - many of these people such as Hillary would never become so esteemed in the first place. Ms. Olson documents the insatiable lust for power that is evident in Mrs. Clinton's actions and words to date. For that she deserves to be praised for providing an invaluable public service. God knows the mainstream news media in this country would like for us all to believe Hillary is a saint.
Rating: Summary: Why can't this book be found in bookstores? Review: After purchasing this book, as I do more and more, on Amazon because the bookstores I went to had refused to stock it...it made me wonder. What is so troubling in this book to make the liberals tremble with fright. Now, after reading it I understand. Ms. Olsen, shows us just how shallow and self-important Mrs. Clinton is. In so many examples, the point is made. What a GREAT read, very illuminating. Buy it even if you are liberal, to understand who you are blindly following.
Rating: Summary: This book confirmed some things I already knew. Review: After hearing Ms. Olson do a radio interview on the Straight Talk program, I was compelled to buy this book. I'm glad I did. It gave me insight to Hillary and helped me understand why she is running (or saying she is running) for Senate. I think the book does show a bias, but I am smart enough to read through that and get down to the facts, which she provides plenty of. Overall, a good book.
Rating: Summary: Too political Review: I was hoping to read a book that detailed some of the alleged illegal activity and scandals that took place during the years Hillary was in the White House. The fact that the author was a prosecutor of many of these scandals was an enticement that it would be filled with facts that we didn't know about. Instead, the first chapters are a condemnation of Hillary's political values, painting her as a liberal pinko in a pink suit. I much preferred Christopher Hitchens' No One Left To Lie To: The Triangulations Of William Jefferson Clinton, which is a much better treatment (thrashing) of the Clinton corruptions by a leftie. I wanted just the facts, ma'am. Or at least the details of the allegations. I don't care about how wrong Hillary is politically. I already knew that!
Rating: Summary: The true colors of Hillary are finally exposed! Review: ... Olson is able to delve deep into the first lady and explore the woman that has been able to fool the media for a seriously long time. Olson's account of how Hillary made her fortune in stock market speculation is nothing short of amazing. Follow along this twisted tale of the woman who knew of her husband's infidelity and stayed silent, all in the name if power and money. You read about Hillary use of a "secret police" to protect herself and the White House from any "threats" she perceived. For the first time we have a book that takes the gloves off and exposes the real Hillary Clinton. Leaving no stone unturned and no lead unfollowed, Olson shows the true colors of one of the most venomous and villainous women in American History. Loved It!
Rating: Summary: Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the phoniest of them all? Review: .... Barabara lays bare the pathology of her subject, the unsavory union of ambition and unlimited craving for substance and power. This is a remarkable synthesis of modern politics, the paranoia, the vengeance, and ultimately, the elevation of shameless pandering and smear tactics to business as usual. Christopher Hitchens penned "No One Left To Lie To". Barbara has shown us there is no where left to hide. I will be recommending this book to everyone. Having done so, I would also recommend a companion piece to Barbara's "Hell to Pay", a novel by Jerry Furland, "Transfer-the end of the beginning"...
Rating: Summary: Revealing look at Hillary's "depth" Review: ....This book is a very revealing bio, a truly great bio in its research and its presentation, of a woman who doesn't seem all that complex -- just driven beyond the norm to prove herself to be better...Read it to find out how a woman (or any potential politician) uses people, concepts, soundbites and buzzwords with media exposure to create an albeit shallow public identity. And read it as well, as I did, for keen insights into modern Presidential politics. The book is all around informative, well written and researched, and just brilliant.
Rating: Summary: Whatever They Say, Facts Are Facts And Rumors Are Rumors! Review: The many books written on Hillary Rodham Clinton include praise andrumors but this book plays no favorites.....I felt the book balances previous softball reports by friends in the media and yet this does not mean anyone can question this books purpose at this time. Therefore, Hillary is running for the Senate, the people will be the ultimate judge. Winning will make this book a forgotten memory and losing will make it a truthsayer. Ms. Olson has placed forth facts that are not in dispute and Hillary like any human being can make mistakes in judgment without having evil intent as many seem to believe. The fact is many political leaders can often just be wrong on views but life makes no one perfect. The book balances what others have tried to portray as savior like deeds. neither are certain in this day and age.
Rating: Summary: Very good look at a scandal filled administration. Review: The book covers almost the entire life of Mrs. Clinton and her hunger for power. Every liberal in the country should read this book to remove the blindfold. The book is an interesting read from cover to cover. I suspect the issues covered in this book will be further investigated when the Clinton's leave the White House.
Rating: Summary: Olson exposes Hillary as Trojan horse of big gov't ideology Review: Funny how liberals get offended when confronted with the truth. Olson melds together a cogent chronology of Hillary's rise to First Victim and how her "power by any means neccessary" philosophy has permeated the Clinton White House. As an apt pupil of her radical socialist mentors, Olson exposes her as a Trojan horse of big government ideology.
