Summary: Nugent for President
Review: Ted hit the nail right on the head. This book should be required reading, for every person in this country. My hats off to Ted and "tribe Nuge".

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: It's not easy being Ted
Review: In an industry chock-full of despicable people who have more money than manners, more drugs than decency, people who leave trashed hotel rooms, pregnant groupies and empty bottles of rotgut in their wake, Ted Nugent stands virtually alone as his OWN MAN. He is the Ayn Rand of e-pissed-emology! In his oevre, Ted the Motorman launches a fussilade of barbed arrows at fat targets. Hunting was never so easy. He bags every bad boy liberal who ever aimed a gun-control bill at the Second Amendment. Lots of it is fun, but I got a little weary reading about his numerous hunts, kills, treks, safaris, and the weapons used. It would be easy to parody his writing. In fact, it's already been done by the shallow, lonely character on Saturday Night Live: Ted Nugent, makin' copies! The Nugiemeister! The Nugemator! Givin' a liberal a Ted Noogie! Ted, eatin' a trail mix candy bar filled with Nougent (nougant? nugent?)! But why should I spoil his or any other gun aficionado's fun? I don't hunt, but I appreciate his advocacy of ALL the rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights. I get the same rush he feels when I finish a crossword puzzle. So, get out your weapons and bag another 17-pointer or 18-pointer, or whatever the hell those deer carry on their heads.

Summary: Infreakingcredible
Review: Double live gonzo. Strap yerselves in for this one. How refreshing. I got this for Christmas and am already finished with it ( its 12/28)! I could not put this masterpiece down! Unca Ted can paint quite the picture with words. Should be required reading for everyone in these once glorious States. Give it to all your bleeding heart friends....

Summary: Straight and Honest
Review: I kenw I would enjoy this book when I read Mitch Albom's (Tuesday's with Morrie) review on the back cover. It actually said he couldn't say he even often agreed with Nugent. How's that for honesty. The author put an opposing view point on his jacket. Then he went on the say that he had respect for Ted because he still fights for his passionate beliefs. I read the book completely enthralled with his short, concise, to the point, don't tread on me (or my God, country, and family) attitude. I had watched his hunting show before I read the book and thought he laid it on thick. Shame on me. He was and always is TED. How many people do you know that are always true to form regardless of company. I loved the book, and have a deep profound respect for this American Patriot.

Summary: Ted Tells It Like It IS!
Review: Awesome book! Refreshing to read a book like this. A similar honest book I read with the same virtues was the hilarious KISS & Tell book about Ace Frehley by Gordon Gebert and Bob McAdams. I mention this because I heard Gebert on the Ted Nugent Show and both of them were promoting both books. I bought and enjoyed both immensely.

Summary: God, Guns & Rock and Roll
Review: I found this book to be a great read, it was hard to put down. Ted puts to words why I and other hunters enjoy "the hunt". It puts one in touch with their primal side; predator in search of prey. And as for "the Right to Keep and Bear Arms" ; those jackbooted thugs can just come and try to take them!

Summary: Positively bringing America back to its roots!
Review: Thanks Ted! Its unbelievable how much I can relate to this book and to Ted. God is awesome and people need to know that. The Constitution, Ten Commandments, and the founders and fighters(soldiers) of America are awesome. This book speaks the truth on hunting, the drastic effects of liberalism, politics and truth. You will feel refreshed, with a new spirit of getting involved and making a difference, after reading this book. READ IT! I promise you won't regret it. May we all continue to hunt, fish, hike, vote, pray, shoot, carry, protect, believe, hope, and rock on! See how this book pumps me up! "NEXT."

Summary: Strong defense of the Bill of Rights and liberty
Review: This is an excellent book with strong arguments in favor of our Bill of Rights, particularly the Second Amendment, and our liberties as a nation. Ted is not politically correct- thank God! Ted also provides strong, passionate arguments for hunting and the outdoor lifestyle, and at times sounds like a throwback to the days of Davy Crockett. The book is funny, outrageous, passionate, and one great read. True North forever!

Summary: A very crummy book.
Review: Ted Nugent gives true sportsmen a bad name. Hunting is not about guns and rock and roll or any such thing. The hunting community needs to nurture its relationship with non-hunters and show them that we are conservation oriented, safety concious, and willing to consider other points of view. Nugent is a very poor spokesperson for hunters. He is right up there with John Rocker and Chuck Heston. They all do hunters more harm than good with their macho gunslinging and adolescent posturing. True hunters would do well to distance themselves from these bozos. Save your money and join Ducks Unlimited or read any of Posewitz's books on hunting ethics. We'll all be better off.

Summary: Somebody call the fire department!
Review: He toured w/the late Jimi Hendrix. His Gibson Byrdland was screaming onstage at the time when Jim Morrison was a glorified poison swallower. He was swinging across stages in a loin cloth at the time when Janice Joplin was a fish in a bottle of Southern Comfort. They did drugs & now they're all dead, but Ted went hunting & he's still Ted.

This book is DYNAMO! Packed w/self-evident truth! Common sense, understanding so simple it's stupid! I highly recommend this book for everyone on the planet. Ted Nugent is on FIRE! He slams the peddle to the metal, baby, so you better lead, follow, or get outta the way, cause the Ted express ain't movin' for nobody, nohow, noway! ONWARD TO TRUE NORTH! And I believe that in the wind he's still alive...
