Summary: The truth in plain view
Review: It is good to see Mr. Miniter step away from the impassioned polemics that we've been seeing from people like Coulter and Franken and give us a level headed and honest look at the culpability of the Clinton administration for over 3,000 American dead on September 11th, 2001. No fair minded person will come away from this book with anything but respect for Mr. Miniter's work and a desire to learn from the failures of the Clinton administration.

Summary: Losing Credibility: How This Book Fails
Review: This book was a padding out of a series of articles this author wrote nearly two years ago. It wasn't news then and it still isn't. The padding, long on innuendo and short on fresh ideas, is one reason why Miniter's original publisher dropped the project and it had to be shopped out to one that will publish anything, however flawed, that is consistent with its ideology. Not hiring Arabic translators is laughable in its triviality. Miniter puts more stock in what officials from a rogue government like Sudan had to say than our own.

Summary: Clinton Fiddled While Americans Burned
Review: A great book--I read it in a couple of days. Rock solid proof that Clinton was AWOL as commander in chief and we got 9/11 because he was spineless. Clinton was focused on more important things--like groping women who worked for him or getting serviced in the Oval office. Clinton should be impeached again for bringing on 9/11--is there a statute of limitations on impeachment?

Summary: Wow! Absolutely Fantastic Book. Clinton Endangered Us All
Review: Really absorbing book. I read Tom Clancy's Teeth of the Tiger before this book and Losing bin Laden was actually better but I'm still a big Clancy fan. This book is a great political thriller but it's all true and America needs to make sure we never elect someone weak and incompetent like Clinton again.

The book takes you into the world of terrorist killers from New York to Yemen to Somalia to the Philippines to Nairobi to Sudan to Afghanistan, it follows the FBI and CIA as they frantically try to get a handle on what's going on and finally takes you inside the clueless Clinton White House, where you get to see the gutless work of Bill Clinton and his "top" people, Madeleine Albright, Sandy Berger, Bruce Lindsey, etc., the whole Clinton gang up close in all their uselessness.

I got angrier and angrier after each chapter, couldn't believe how gutless Clinton was. What a mess the Clintonites made of national security, just totally incompetent. By the last chapter on the Cole attack, where the Clintonites decided not to hit bin Laden when they knew where he was! I could have screamed! Our sailors were killed and they did nothing. No wonder bin Laden thought he could get away with murder since the Clintonites let him. They could have taken out bin Laden years ago and kept getting chance after chance but just didn't have the guts to pull the trigger.

Read this book. I hope all the voters in the next presidential election do.

Summary: Horrible Book
Review: Its obvious by reading the first chapter of this book that the author didn't do his research. Bill Clinton did more to fight terrrorism than any president before him, its just more propaganda trying to keep people from the truth.

Summary: A Page Turner--A Great Read
Review: I voted for Bill Clinton twice but voted for Bush in the last election so am in the middle politically. This book is surprisingly good--I actually could not put it down once I started reading. I love thrillers and this reads like one--it moves very fast with lots of information but with a riveting story. It reminded me of Da Vinci's code--where you have a great read but also learn alot.

I noticed some of the other reviews--especially the one stars where people are kind of hysterical. Having read the book, it's pretty clear those folks didn't actually read the book. Because even if you disagree with the book, it's just objectively a page turner. Also, the author goes out of his way to let you know what the source of his info is--so the reader can judge for himself. And he has lots of information from high-level Clinton officials, like National Security Council director Lake and Berger, Richard Clarke, Clinton's Counterterrorism director, Michael Sheehan, Clinton's state dept counterrorism head, Albright and on and on. So their views are throughout this book.

I'm in the middle politically and after having read the book, I'm still in the middle on what Clinton did with bin Laden. It's really painful that he just didn't take it that one extra step to solve the problem--over and over again--but I wonder if any other administration would have done any differently.

Summary: MORE Clinton Corruption & Incompetence
Review: Despite what the Klinton Kool-Aid, Billary-worship, political moron crowd says about this book, if you want to learn some more hard-core facts about the absolutely corrupt and incompetent Clinton/Gore administration, as it relates to the current Bin Laden-led Islamofascist world threat, read this EXCELLENT, well-documented book. This book will show you that 3,000 dead bodies on 9/11 are the direct result of the infantile international policies of Bill Clinton and his Keystone Kop State Department crew. The pattern of his administration as it relates to militant Islamic followers who want to kill us is unreal: Somalia ("Black Hawk Down"), TWA flight 800 blown out the sky, U.S.S. Cole, Bin Laden, bombed embassies in Africa--all setting us up for 9/11.

Of course the socialist storm troopers from the Left won't agree, but we need more books like this to expose the TRUTH about the misdeeds of the Clinton/Gore regime. Great job on this book Mr. Miniter--please write another.

Summary: Miniter's Masterpiece
Review: Miniter's outstanding book is a masterpiece. It keeps the reader completely engaged as it reveals the truth behind Clinton's failure to apprehend Bin Laden and prevent the attacks of 9/11.

I have read many books on this subject and cannot recommend this one highly enough. From the first page it is impossible to put down this gripping account of history.

Summary: Poor Richard Miniter's Myopia
Review: Richard would have us believe that President Clinton missed the opportunity to prevent the attacks of 9/11. This untenable thesis is of course tainted by the benefits of hindsight, but Richard's hindsight is more than slightly myopic. His rendition of the history of the radical Islam movement evidently begins with the swearing-in ceremony of President Clinton.

When historians with better hindsight reflect upon of the development of the Middle East, they often are confronted with the question of the impact of imperial powers on these nations. The mix of fundamentalism within any religion with the power of national government guarantees clear risk of totalitarianism. For the most part, when this occurs within the boundaries of a minor country like Afghanistan, hardly anyone notices. Such was the history of the rise of fundamentalism in Iran, Afghanistan and other countries. Naturally, one might be tempted to remind Richard that the foreign policies of the Reagan and Bush, Sr. administrations supported Saddam Hussein, helped the Taliban establish a stronghold in Afghanistan. One must fairly ask: Did Bush Sr. miss opportunities to smite the foe after the first World Trade Center bombing? How culpable are these previous administrations for helping these entities become as powerful as they are?

Summary: Misinformation for a new era
Review: This book is full of statements with no factual proof whatsoever. I challenge any competent researcher to find any fact in what Miniter claims. An angry conservative venting his anger in book form. Mr. Miniter: we don't care.

This book would be better suited as a humorous read than a book of political commentary.
