Rating: Summary: BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: Probably the greatest book ever written on the subject of RACISM
Rating: Summary: White America validates the Isis Papers every day. Review: Only those who choose to keep their heads in the sand and remain in denial can dispute the Isis Papers. You cannot judge people by how articulately they explain away their intentions but solely on the merits of their deeds. The deeds of white America have remained largely unchanged for the past three hundred years. It's time for all those "good" "non-racist" whites to stand on the front lines and help dismantle racism. Oh, but maybe if the playing field were leveled you might not win as often. Hmmmmm.....could this be the real reason? Suggested reading to prove or disprove the Isis Papers - audio tape "Great Black Speeches" our ancestors were struggling against the EXACT same indignities in 1893 that face African-Americans in 1999.
Rating: Summary: This book is thought provoking and a definate eye opener. Review: I enjoyed the knowlegeable perspective on the subject of race and race relations. The views of Mrs. Welsing are in definate contrast to what many people both white and non-white view the current conditions of the world. The positive points of the book lie in the philosophy that White peoples react to non-white on a very sub-consience level intrigues me and I agree, the key to race relations lie in the true heart of the problem and not the after effects of the current condition of the peoples both white and non-white. On a negative note there are times when Dr. Welsings facts overflow into the very grey area of opinion. I enjoy her opinion but hard facts are never disputable.Shawna Kent
Rating: Summary: the Mein Kampf of afrocentrism Review: This is the definitive manifesto of afro-nazism. Buried under all the blather about the glories of melanin is the simple message that ALL whites are irredeemably racist, even those who sincerely believe themselves not to be, and that the only hope for blacks- excuse me, "Blacks"- is literally for all of them everywhere to die. Welsing could have paid to have a billboard put up saying " KILL WHITEY!!!!" and made her point just as cogently without murdering nearly as many trees.
Rating: Summary: Simplistic Review: A sad indictment of pseudo-scholarship. Her sweeping generalisations could be applied to *any* population group. Surprised Welsing doesn't go into depth re: her usual fetish i.e. the size of penises and her homophobic rantings. Maybe next time.......
Rating: Summary: Appalling tirade Review: Bigotry at its worst. Avoid
Rating: Summary: Insightful and informative Review: While in college, a friend read this book and mentioned a few points. Years later, I've finally read the book and it has explained many things and clarified my view on racism. It explains the 'conquering Christians', the systematic destruction of Native Americans, and the sudden appearance of crack cocaine. It explains why after every major pullback in the DOW, several white people take nosedives to their death. If you disagree with this book, you are part of the problem or you can not handle the truth. Point blank, if you are truly superior, then the truth is self evident; you do not have to constantly try to prove your worth, your superiority by death, destruction, and domination. You do not need to make political and scientific propaganda regarding how great you are. You do not need to create weapons of mass destruction bringing a world, that you did not create, to the brink of destruction. This book makes perfect sense.
Rating: Summary: The Foundation to really Under-stand Racism Review: I must say that Dr. Welsing has come out with what I believe to be the must unadulterated research into the long unaswered quetions that all start with "why". Dr Welsing's Isis Papers not only opens they eyes to the race card which is played out in all of our lifes daily but also the areas of homosexuality and many more. This book is not just for people of color but for whites as well for blacks have long been in my mind the best resource to understanding whites. I have forever been changed and challenged by this book!
Rating: Summary: The most comprehensive analysis ever written on the subject Review: The Isis Papers is the most definitive analysis of racism ever written. I grew up trying to understand the "why's" of racism. Now my discussions and understanding of the subject are conducted with this great book in mine. Dr. Welsing states she did not invent the concepts outlined in the book. "I looked and they were there" she says. Dr. Welsing encourages us all to do the samething. The subject is not about hatred, but understanding the extent the mind will go to insure its survival. White Supremacy is about survival, says Dr. Welsing. Survival is the strongest energy that propels the human psychi. This book should be read and read and shared with anyone interested in understanding the concept of racism.
Rating: Summary: First book to explain the global system of White Supremacy! Review: I give The ISIS Papers 10 stars!! The first and only book that gives a very basic explaination of the most fundamental concept of our reality on planet earth. This is a must read for non-whites world wide. I urge you if you're a Black, Brown, Red, or Yellow person, to read this book! People will be forced to take a different look at themselves, who they are, and the peoples they are apart of.
