Review: Of all the conservative radio talkshow hosts, Savage is one of the best educated and coherent. I'm also comparing his show to something like, say, Franken's "Oy Show." Most of what Savage writes is opinion--and no one has to back up an opinion, despite what people might tell you. But if those opinions are written next to references to James Madison, Daniel Webster, and John Quincy Adams (statesmen who held very conservative beliefs but championed liberal causes), and citations of Cicero, I'd give the author immense credit for recognizing and integrating history into his work. And I give Savage credit on that point.

Some of my review will be provided by our friends on the left. Just scroll down and read the reviews of the liberals who lowered themselves to read this book. Look at where they're from in the US. It won't be a surprise. And their comments, just replete with that wonderful leftist tolerance, will be as good a review as you'll get. In their affected efforts to put those hard-earned English degrees to use, they lucidly characterize why they hate Savage so much. Ironically, these liberal blowhards prove the point he drives home in this book--Liberalism is a mental disorder. The liberal reviewers obsessed with hating Savage are evidence. There's a reason they try to discourage people from reading Michael Savage...

Summary: The Savage Hammer
Review: Michael Savage goes over the edge sometimes, but mostly he hits that nail of insanity that is piercing America precisely on its head. This is a very well researched book, and if you check out his facts, you'll be horrified to find they are 100% correct. His chapter on the courts, and what is happening to the judicial system (Ch. 2, "Stench from the Bench") is a must read, to find out how our tax dollars are funding the absurdity of Leftist agendas, and perhaps the most important chapter is the one on the education system, (Ch. 8 and 9). He also disects the problems in health care, the media and the military, faith and morality, and "The Silenced Majority", a majority I spent far too many years in; it's time for us to stand up and be counted, and this book is one of the ways to help us strengthen those leg muscles for what may be a very long march against the tide of socialism.

It is also very entertaining: Savage is a language maven and has thought up words that deserve their own dictionary, and has a way of describing things in a graphic, visual manner. His verbal picture of the map of America, when viewed as an animal (pg. 152-153), is one of the most hilarious passages I've ever encountered anywhere.
Though Savage is a tough guy always ready with an insult, he is also a very deep and caring man, and like a cut diamond, brilliant and very sharp.
I don't always agree with him, but I listen, because he makes me think, and break the silence kept for decades, a sheeple no more.

Summary: There are More productive ways of "Saving America"
Review: This book is full of hate and ignorance. It's the same angry fear injecting stuff that is being regurgitated by so many others. I've been looking for an anti-progressive book with substance (I like to keep myself in check with good counterpoints to my own beliefs,) but sadly have not found one for a long time. My advice would be to save your money. Better yet use your money to help your church, give a phone card to a soldier, or buy some school supplies for a child who cannot aford them. This would be a much more productive way of "Saving America...Our Schools, Faith, and Military.

Review: He REally Plays The either you love me or you hate me New York Vibe Just as Good As The New York Dolls.Just like the New York Dolls made all rock Roll seem tired and out dated micheal makes all other conservative outdated old and just a little to far to the left. In Both cases I love them Micheal is not crazy or money hungry. 1. He has two Majors and a phd 2. A succesful carrier putside radio and accidently got into Radio. He does not need this job or the money that is why he does not old back and makes his radio shows entertaining for the veiwer and himself. That is also why he is so succsesful 8 Million listeners a week. He does not brow beat you he tells you like it he sees it just one mans opion. And it will grow because it is a honest opion from a man who loves this country!!
