Summary: Propaganda
Review: As someone undecided on which side of the spectrum I'd like to be a part of, I have to say this is certainly not the way to win me over. This author does not once appeal to my sense of reason, but tries to manipulate me into siding with him by inciting rage and fear. That, by definition, is propaganda.

Instead of laying out some well thought-out, solid reasons why I should vote for who he tells me to, he rather randomly screams that homosexuals are going to rape my children and terrorists are going to kill me in my sleep.

While I have not (as I previously stated) decided that I agree with the issues they stand for, I must say that the liberals have a much greater chance of appealing to those like me because I'm having so much difficulty finding conservatives who will stop screaming insults long enough to address any points they may have.

I just wish I could see a few calm people from each side, reasonably stating their logic so I could feel I have the tools at my disposal to take a stance.

Summary: We love Michael Savage
Review: Michael Savage is great. He is so much like us. For example he says that homosexuals are bad, and we agree. Around here we stone homosexuals to death. He also says that immigrants are bad. He's right. We hate immigrants, especially if they are Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, or any other culture and religion that isn't exactly like ours. He says that liberals are bad, and we agree. We put liberals in prison or just shoot them in the head. Anyway like I said we love Michael Savage and we really hope he will convert to Islam and come over here to live with us.

Summary: The Enemy Within: Saving America from the Liberal Assault on
Review: Talk radio sensation and New York Times bestselling author Michael Savage again goes for the jugular in this latest brash, incendiary attack on the corrosive effects of liberalism on our culture. Where The Savage Nation was a grab bag of rants and ravings, this book focuses squarely on the dangers assailing the cornerstones of American life, pointing out how liberal propaganda and agendas are seeping into our churches, our schools, even our families. Bold, sometimes angry, often uproarious, and always controversial, this book is pure, no-holds-barred Michael Savage, one of the strongest, most original voices in America today.

Summary: Michael Savage is a modern-day prophet to the USA
Review: The book is excellent. Well documented and comprehesive!
I really enjoyed it. Basically, the Liberals have a LOT to answer for their destructive world-view. Dr. Savage in a historical and philosophical way demonstrates the down-stream effects of liberalism in our culture and our society.

Summary: Savage Sensation
Review: If I could describe this book in one word it would be: PATRIOTISM. If you are OFFENDED by the American flag then this book is NOT for you.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Compassionate conservativism...
Review: Yes, Michael Savage is combative and contentious but his heart (not hate) is in the right place. He wants the best for our country and pursues it with all of his being. Beyond the biting rants is patriotism and fervor. Some will demonize our President, some will demonize the "liberal." The truth with win out for all.

Summary: Moronic, lies and half-truths - the Right will love it!
Review: Hard to believe that this idiot has a radio show, gets published and has a devoted following. I borrowed this book from a friend and found myself laughing at something on every page. Clearly written for the wacko Right, this book has no coherent thought process or supporting facts. But, judging by the comments, the wackos love it - somewhere Savage is laughing as he rakes in the cash and calling all his Savage Nation "suckers!"

Summary: Right wing right way
Review: This is a book you can judge by its cover.
The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God.
Oh, I offended you, so,so sorry. Thank you, Savage for writing it.
The USA rocks!

Summary: Mr. Savage seems to be a Christian who never met Christ
Review: I am a Christian who takes my faith very seriously. There is no question that Jesus was friend to--that He came to be with and to love--those who were marginalized and criticized by the Pharisees, the legalistic moral authorities of the day. Jesus called the Pharisees "vipors", and "White-washed tombs full of dead men's bones". As a result, the meaning of "Pharisee" in today's literature is "a hypocritically self-righteous person"--the kind of person that Jesus came to save us from. An that is the kind of person that Michael Savage comes across as.

I am very tired of the abuse of Christianity by the Michael Savages of the world. Very tired of it. A Christian is a person whose greatest gift is love. By contrast, Mr. Savage seems full of hate. The Apostle Paul said that we live no longer by the law, but by the Spirit--God's Spirit--a spirit of love and understanding. Although living by the Spirit does not mean tolerance of those practices that are clearly not God's will, it does mean attempting to affect changes through love, healing, and prayer--rather than through hatred, degradation, or literary slander. The latter approach is born of fear; and fear seems to be the driving force behind Mr. Savage's viewpoints.

Summary: The book is horribly written, little factual information!
Review: The fact that any Americans believe this trash is mind-boggling. The hate that spews from this self-loathing man is gross and pathetic. He is everything America should never, and will NEVER be. If you disagree with Savage he stamps the label of "liberal" on you. This is also a label that he throws around to damn freely. He has it in his warped mind that every gay man, female, Mexican, Muslim, African American, Asian and so on would even classify themselves as a "liberal". Basically he uses this label and stamps it on people that simply have different beliefs than him. You can't blame everything that's wrong in a society on one group! This is what Hitler did for crying out loud!!!!

You can't go 3 sentences in this book without Savage calling someone unpatriotic or a communist or a liberal whom he sees as interchangeable. Every line he calls another person a name without every backing it up. The book is filled with religious rhetoric and anyone who believes this crap is just plain ignorant. Apparently, like Bush, Savage wants to stomp on the Constitution and let religion into our public places, especially schools. He opposed the removal of a granite monument to The 10 Commandments. JUST BECAUSE PEOPLE IN AMERICA OPPOSE YOUR VIEWS OR THE VIEWS OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION DOESN'T MAKE THEIR VIEWS WRONG, OR THE PEOPLE UNPATRIOTIC.

The book is horribly written, with little factual information. He just rambles on for sentence after sentence in an unorganized way. If there was any point or message to his writing I couldn't get it through all the homophobia and red scare talk. Apparently Savage thinks we're still in the height of the Cold War the way he claims anyone who is unreligious or opposed to the war in Iraq is a Communist, even though Bush and his whole administration are now proven liars. I can't believe how many reviews support this book; I can't in my right mind see how anyone could see this as a good book or any of his points valid. I for one, am a proud American, and it is people like Savage who perpetuate the idea that America should be for the few not for everyone. If you other reviews want to call me a Communist or whatever for writing this, then go right ahead, it will just show how ignorant and uninformed you are, as well as Savage.

He says he supports the military but not one word was written about the cuts in soldier's pay and benefits, cuts in combat pay and overseas cost of living, etc., etc. Nor did he mention anything about Bush's massive cuts in the Veterans Administration health care system for disabled American Patriotic soldiers. Of course he probably got a draft deferment or went hiding into the guard to avoid the Vietnam War, just like the conservatives he blindly supports. Even if you believe this nut-case, the book is poorly written and overly-simplistic.

For fun, if you are open minded and looking for those books begging for its pages to be turned...look no further. I just read a copy of :The Da Vinci Code' and Edgar Fouche's 'Alien Rapture,' which also blew me away. Fouche was a Top Secret Black Program 'insider', whose credibility has been verified over and over. I also really liked Dan Brown's 'Angels and Demons.' Want to be shocked, check out Dr. Paul Hill's 'Unconventional Flying Objects' which NASA tried to ban.
