Summary: Down to Earth, Sensible, Inspiring, Simple Yet Profound
Review: I actually listened to the tape before I read the book. In both cases I loved Susan Jeffers down-to-earth style. I felt like she was like me and if she could do it, so could I. I found her writing and speaking style to portray her as very approachable. I have since had the opportunity to speak with her on several occasions and found that she "practices what she preaches." I am currently writing my own book and Susan has been somewhat of a mentor for me in getting that process started. I highly recommend this book.

Summary: A Talisman for L.I.F.E.
Review: For years it was a constant source of amazement to me as to why so many smart, attractive women who basked in an aura of "I have at last got my life together so look out world" were reading 'Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway'. Given their composure and self-confidence what could they possibly get, or need, from one of the great, all-time originals in the self-help stakes that was first published almost a decade ago.

Finally, during a morning train ride to the office, I plucked up courage to ask a fellow commuter what could she - with confidence oozing from every pore in her body - possibly get from FTF.

"Oh my God", she exclaimed, smiling at me. "It's not what I'm getting and learning from this book now that is the reason for my reading it, it's what I learned when I first read it many years ago and the way that it transformed my life that makes me feel so good about myself and gives me the ability to focus on positives and banish negatives and downers to the trash-can where they belong".

"Every so often", she continued, "I get it out and re-read a few chapters just to make sure that I'm still on the right track. To me it's a kind of talisman of life. A re-assurance. Linus has his security blanket and I have my Feel the Fear."

By now the train had arrived at the terminus and just before she moved off and disappeared into the crowd she turned, gave me a broad smile and said, " By the way that's life spelt L.I.F.E."

Shouldn't someone call Ally McBeal and let her in on the secret.

Review: Susan has written a wonderful book that can help you take back control of your life. This gem is well written, easy to understand, and easy to follow. With her common sense approach, you will immediately feel yourself move from a state of fear to a state of freedom. No matter what your fear, you can become the person you always knew you were. It works because all fear has the same core belief. Once you understand what that is you can easily make the adjustment to your attitude that you need to. I know because it worked wonders with me. I believe in this book.

Summary: Turned me Around
Review: This was one of the most eye-opening and empowering books I've ever read! It seemed too simple that I had all this ability hiding away, but once I started trying the techniques, I really had a whole new outlook... HAPPY AND IN CHARGE. A must-read!

Summary: This book is absolutely awesome.
Review: I bought this book for a friend that had a serious vision problem, I intended to read it to her, but after I started to read it, I realized that I was the one with the problem. This book totally opened my eyes to a better way of living. It has taught me how to truly 'handle' all aspects of my life and even though it is not a 'religious' book, I feel that it's principles are parallel with my own personal faith. I could not thank you enough for helping me on my journey. I am sure many people share these same feelings.

Fret no more, buy this book and fearlessly pursue your goals.

I enjoyed this book so much I included it in the suggested reading list of my own book titled, Rat Race Relaxer: Your Potential & The Maze of Life by JoAnna Carey.

Summary: I love listening to this book on my iPod
Review: Susan waste no time explaining why we have fear, where it comes from and what we can do to change it. Her book is realistic and offers real examples that we can all relate to. Even after the first two chapters you will feel less fear.

Highly recommend this book. Only paid 9.95 for the Audio/Mp3/22MB/6 Hour version from Audible.com

Summary: Simple yet profound
Review: I really liked this book because it is a quick read, hopeful and extremely practical. There is nothing confusing or complicated to do to start the process of moving past one's fears. I think Jeffers is very wise to keep it simple and not over complicate the solutions. However, she also makes it clear that it won't happen over night and that one must constantly check themselves. That's not an easy thing to do, to be tuned into your "chatterbox," but I think she really hits the nail on the head by identifying internal negativity as a root of our fears. I will refer back to this book many times.
