Rating: Summary: I recognized the periode between the lives Review: Reading this book and getting confirmation that the experiences I have had my self is not fiction. I have in a previous life given birth to an inidian child Little Feather, through body harmony healing treatment. 18 months later I gave birth to my daughter and I recognized her as Little Feather, her present name is Dyveke i.e. Little Dove and she is my long ago Indian child from a previous life. The time of birth was the 7th of Oct hours 10.07! Which is quite rare! It is nice to observe that traditional trained health personel is seeing the path and the real reason for why people get ill. It is so important to treat the whole, body and soul is connected - and also further to previous lives. Going through regression with good guidiance like the one Dr.Weiss does is so important and healthy. Keep up your good work Dr. Weiss! PS could you send me my twin soule if he pops up? :-)
Rating: Summary: Simplistic and disappointing Review: Just finished reading "Many lives, Many masters" and I am extremely disappointed. How can a reputable psychiatrist with impressive credentials come up with such a flawed, simplistic and entirely unconvincing book? His account of the hypnosis sessions and the conclusions he draws are childish. The book is full of contradictions and all the issues which could be interesting are left unexplored and unexplained. Dr. Weiss finds exactly what he wants to find in his patient's accounts of past lives and then he claims he is surprised. He claims to prove objective principles by presenting them through an inevitably subjective and prejudiced perspective. There is much to be said about reincarnation and psychic experiences, however, this book is not one that says much. Too bad. There was no need for yet another publication that can only discourage serious research and interest in a fascinating and worthy subject. I suppose we can only be grateful that not everyone who experienced something unusual in their lives is going to write and publish a book.
Rating: Summary: Read Anything about reincarnation? This book is too Simple. Review: If you have read Anything about past life therapy, do not buy this book. You will be very, very disappointed. Dr. Weiss never got the message he wrote (to??!)himself in the book, over and over and over.... The message was.. "This information is for you, Dr. Weiss." His attitude towards his "star" patient, Catherine, was condescending, at best. I kept reading, hoping he would ...reread his own words?....the mesage was not for Catherine, it was for Dr. Weiss. If he had gotten the message he would have written a very different book, a better book. He would have learned more and have had more to say. As it is, he needs a teacher. Catherine, et al, tried. He failed.
Rating: Summary: Completely changed my point of view Review: I picked up this book because I thought it would be interesting and for no other reason. I wasn't looking for answers, wasn't looking for something to validate any preconceived ideas that I had. But reading this book completely changed the way I look at life and death and what happens in between the two. It explains so much. It explains why some people just click when they meet, or why they don't. It explains uncontrollable fear. It explains death. It explains life. A must read - at least once.
Rating: Summary: Life Changing Review: I recommend this book to everyone that I know. If you have an open mind, you will learn a lot from it. It really could change your life.
Rating: Summary: Inspireing and very helpful for me Review: This book made me realize all I,ve suspected for years, there is life after death. It has helped me so much, Thank you Dr Weiss, Barbara Still from Bradenton, Fla.
Rating: Summary: Great book!!! Review: I thought this book was great. It was so great, I want Brian Weiss to be my therapist! This patient in the book reminds a lot about me. I have a lot of fears, and I think I was raped and murdered in some of my past-lives. I'm extremely shy. I'm 28 years old and never had a boyfriend. I'm just terribly shy. I know that if I go into hypnosis and talk about my past-lives, I will be better. I will feel better. How can I contact this author, Brian Weiss? Is he still alive? I hope so! You can write me at: KClark3858@aol.com if you have any info to give me.Karen Clark Concord, California (510) 918-1790
Rating: Summary: An incredible twisting journey into the soul and the spirit. Review: I am currently attending the university of Florida and I am taking a course called religion and the individual experience. The class was expected to write a paper on a religous experience. I wrote about Brians book. When you breathe in a book of this magnitude it can only leave you completely altered from your original state. I walked away from this book a new person,..a better person! I was no longer afraid of death. I felt rejuvinated! If your heart desires the answers to what has come before and what lies beyond this lifetime, then open your mind to this book. I haven't met a person who didn't like it yet.
Rating: Summary: Is quite interesting.... Review: Actually, I haven't read the book yet.... but my mum did...... and she loves it. I don't fully believe what the book said, but i think it's interesting..... i'm sure that i'll buy the book and read it carefully.... The most interesting thing in the book is it explains you why sometimes you see some unknown places and people familiar..... (this very often happen to me)....
