Summary: Shayna Halloran's review for "Illusions"
Review: The novel "Illusions", by Richard Bach, is a very creative and bazaar piece of literature. The book at first comes off as rather strange and confusing but as the plot ties together it becomes quite exciting and intensive. The book uses various supernatural concepts, which seem unbelievable, and makes them very reasonable. Richard Bach is brilliant in pulling off such an incredible theme and easily draws the reader into his outrageous ideas. I even found myself questioning everything in the world around me. This book opens a whole new idea about faith, humanity, and afterlife. It leaves the reader stumped about their own beliefs and makes one explore all questions of one's own faith.

Summary: A feeling of Hope
Review: By making Richards imagination, go in all directions and making him have altered out looks on life itself. Donald Shimoda, the man who is in charge of making a handicap person with a dream to fly in an airplane, to jump into the cockpit. The man, who is responsible for a frightened little girl, afraid of flying to be able to luxuriate in the sky.
In Illusions, the remarkable continuance to his marvelous bestseller Jonathan Livingston Seagull, Richard Bach takes people into determining what they had inside them the hole time, to show them what the world presents them. To give them inspiration.
This book is also very easy to read, with the characters not so hard to comprehend, and harder to understand what there lives are like. I like the airplane theme, the fact that the sky is freedom. That the planes is what brought Richard and Don together. The idea that there was something about Don that captured Richard, and he knew he was extraordinary. What you have always needed in your life might be right in front of you.
I strongly recommending people to read this book!!!!

Summary: My Adventure With My Illusions
Review: The novel "Illusions", by Richard Bach seemed to me a book of nonsense when it was first given to me. As I began the book it became more and more interesting to read. The advice given in this book are wonderful ways to look at life and to help you through life. I think anyone would enjoy reading this book. Although I think it is a little mature for myself, I am only 17, I would definitly look back on this book and it's passages throughout life to help me along the way. "Illusions" is a new and inspirational way to look at life.

Summary: Influence
Review: "This book I have bought copies of for my friends. I told them to throw it back my way or pass it on, it is that inspirational. It's simplicity is astounding while still getting the point across. I've read it two times through to make sure I took in all of its messages. It has helped me to view situations different, to let myself change my freedom, liberties without inhibitions. If you actually take reviews to heart, read this book."

Summary: Illusions-Great Book
Review: I feel that Illusions by Richard Back is a 4 star book. The insight it offers as a way of looking as situations is both positive and intellectual. The way in which the book is narrated, with the story of the Messiah preceding the actual account of his interaction with the main character allow for his thoughts to be revealed, then with the close of the book, re-analyzed. The text itself is an easy read and hard to put down. The thoughts are simple enough to be understood by all, however have enough depth that the most philosophical reader can get much from them. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone who is, or is interested in, taking time to analyze life and their place in the world.

Summary: a new way of thinking
Review: The first time I started to read Illusions, I was in a public library. Three people I had never met before just HAD to talk to me about it. I spent over an hour with one man, who remembered exactly when and where he had first read Illusions. He also told me that he uses the book as inspiration, and just as Richard does, will open the book randomly and finds the exact lines to comfort him. The only other book he could do that with was the Bible. At the time, I had just started the book and thought his words were a little over the top, but then I finished. Illusions is one of those life-changing books. Bach forces you to rethink the world in a positive manner, so different from so many other books being written. It is possible, according to the book, to take control of your life and to manipulate it to make yourself happy. Everybody has this power. The words are simple, perhaps deceptively so. But they enable you to connect yourself with Richard, to follow along in his steps and learn as he learns. I would recommend this book to everyone who isn't afraid to learn more about himself.

Summary: Thought Provoking
Review: Illusions was a book I couldn't put down. In every chapter there were at least a dozen things I discovered about myself. The story is about two men who on the outside seem like simple working men but actually have much more to them. One of the main characters, Richard, doesn't even know the powers that he holds (and that we hold). Through the other man, his messiah character Donald Shimoda, author Richard Bach teaches the reader that you are the ultimate superior in your life. Bach has a million life lessons all in one book. Using the analogy life is like a movie, Bach expresses the idea that life is strictly mind over matter. If the mind believes it to be, it is. This is definitely a comforting book to read in times of doubt, trouble, and confusion. It is an inspirational book to read at any other time. Read it and pass it on, happiness never decreases by being shared.

Summary: Understanding life
Review: Illusions perfectly illustrates the way our world works and the way people act in it. It provides insightful analogies that really help you learn lifes many lessons. After reading this book I can now better understand why some people are the way they are, and try to make myself a better person by accepting that. This book is an enjoyable story as well as a very important handbook for the way the world works. For those seeking to get a better understanding of the world around them, I would strongly recommend this book~ as well as to everyone else.
