Summary: Illusions Review
Review: I thought the book "Illusions" was an insighful piece that was both enlightening and interesting. While books with such depth, spiritually and religously are not what I am used to, I found that I was able to relate to this book and its morals. Through a simple story of two men, the author depicts ideas that with the help of others, anyone can believe, in themselves and others.
This story of two men, one a Messiah that helps the other along the way, shows the practical way in which we find help in the oddest of places. The books ideals are inspiring and show that we can find light in the darkest of places. Sometimes we spend too much time looking at the negatives and the good things in life may pass us by.
This book made me feel good because it helps the reader to look at their own life in a new light, with hope and encouragement. I would recommend this book to other readers looking for an upbeat, feel-good, inpirational book.

Summary: It's No Illusion: This a Worthwhile Read
Review: This is a book for everyone, regardless of creed, religion, or lack thereof. It speaks, in the simplest of words (which is often times the best way to speak), of a notion that is at the heart of all of humanity. While the bigger picture may be trying to answer, "Can a messiah quit his job?" the bigger question really is, "Can I look within myself and find a messiah?"
The journey towards self-discovery in the life of Richard is speckled with useful and insightful quotes along the way. Perhaps the most intriguing quote is the very last line of the book. The open-mindedness of this line is a very important lesson for all of us to learn from, regardless of the absoluteness of one's religion.
Illusions provides a way to get one started on a path towards peace within one's self. This freeing peace is each of our own messiahs within ourselves.

Summary: Messiah Flyer
Review: Illusions, by Bach was amazing. It really drew me into the Lives of these to me. I was inspired by the way the Messiah portrayed his "job". As if he wern't the only Messiah. When he says thatwe are all God's children and we all have the ability to do the things he does, I actually believed him. I have no dowbt that we cannot do exactly what we want to do. Whether it be cure an illness with good thoughts and ambition, or just keep bugs off my windsheild. It's all withing our reach, and this book made me think into that magic.
I highly recommend this book because it was one of those unnexpectedly great books. I wasn;t sure about this book at first, but I just say down to ake a peek at it and ended up reading the whole thing!

Summary: Illusions
Review: This book sets me free into an optimistic point of view on life. I really did like the fact that even though the whole beginning the Messiah is talking about how he wants to run away from his job and how he doesn't like it. And then, he kind of matchers in a way. While he is teaching Richard the knowledge he has. He starts to understand how he will never be able to ran away from his job till he is done his mission. I loved the part in the book where he goes to that radio talk show and says all he had to say, all his thought. He didn't care if people will understand him, he even knew that they wont, but he still did it with out being scared. And after he had said all that and understood how his gift is important he died which was a symbolic thing that you knew was going to happen. While reading the book I think me myself went trough a transition when the Messiah did. The way he started looking at thing so differently made me too realize all of a sudden how much of an influence one can have on others. This is one of the books that you read over and over. And it makes you gain so much knowledge just from reading it. I love this book and I now gave it to other people to read it.

Summary: Ilusions
Review: This novel, is an incredible work of literary achievement. With its imagery and word usage it really brings out the authors true intentions on the reader. The feelings embedded behind the writing style sucks a reader into a pattern that is inescapable. Though the subject either lovable or detestable depending on who you are and your religious values. Even besides that rough aspect, the ideals are mainly universal, the philosophies of life that are true to any human. A well written novel is a good thing, that plus a purpose is better, that plus a lesson is the best. An authors greatest achievement is changing a persons view after reading their art, weather its an ideal or a feeling. This piece of literature ends with and optimism that consumed the reader on life, peace, and the authors future in writing. :)MA

Summary: This book can change the way you look at the world
Review: This book is the most exciting thing I have read, you can't put it down even when you know you have to you just want to keep gonig and see what Don can teach Richard, and you next. I loved almost everything in it except, "Everything in this book may be wrong", but that's a good thing because it forced me to really think about the world and what is happening if you think about it we really can do whatever we want we just have to face the consequences in the end.I still loved the book even after what happened to Don,(I don't want to give it away)it did add to the thinking I was already doing though. I just think this book is great and I thank my teacher for haveing my class read it.
So go read it!...

Summary: Its all and illusion
Review: Allusions touched me in a way no other book has. The new Massiah brings a light into one man's life. He also brought a life into mine. The Massiah brings about points that make you think about who you are and where you might be going. Allusions makes you think long and hard about why things are. Is all noticable to the human eye or are we all just ignorant and think its all magic. The Massiah has claimed to quit his job but the reality of it is that he can never quit no matter where he goes or what he does he wil posess powers and know things that the average person would not know. IF you are a religious person i think you will enjoy Illusions very mcuh. It makes the normal mind think with all the point that the Massiah brings up in his handbook. The book is great for all people of all ages and i think everyone should read it.

Summary: My Thoughts on an Inspirational and Insightful Work
Review: The book Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah by Richard Bach is a very deep and insightful book. It is about an ordinary pilot named Richard who comes upon another man in the same line of work named Donald Shimoda. He comes to realize that Don is the man that is known as the "mechanic messiah", who has decided to quit because he is tired of the crowds of people who don't really care what he has to say, although they seek his help. Therefore, he decides to fly his airplane from place to place and seek nothing but his own happiness. Don and Richard form a strong friendship as Don teaches Richard what he already knows inside of himself. Richard slowly comes to find, with the help of Don, that all of the qualities and abilities of a messiah (such as walking on water and performing other miracles) have been right at his fingertips all along. All he has to do is realize that they are there.
This book is incredibly inspirational because it encourages people to seek peace and happiness within themselves. Don gives Richard a "Messiah's Handbook: Reminders for the Advanced Soul". It provides the reader with profound motivational quotes, allowing the reader to see that they have the power within themselves to achieve their dreams and wishes. It prompts the reader to look at the bright side of things because the "handbook" states that every problem comes with a gift. This "handbook" also stresses the fact that people should not limit themselves.
Illusions: The Adventures of A Reluctant Messiah is a book worth reading. It is a very powerful work in that the reader comes away from it completely inspired and full of new ideas. This book provides a wonderful way to think about life.

Summary: "The Handbook of Life"
Review: The book, Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah, by Richard Bach is an absolutely amazing piece of writing. It allows you to think for yourself, and by this I mean every single person that reads this book will interpret its meanings differently, which is probably the point Richard Bach is trying to make. This book has actually changed a part of me; the way I look at and think about life. It is difficult to describe how, but I know that the change is for the better. It is absolutely amazing and I would encourage ANYONE who comes across this book to read it a thousand times. It is different every time, depending on what point you are at in your life. However, if you don't already think a little like the way this book is written (there are no limits!), then I would advise you not to expect a change. Whether you believe in what this "Handbook of Life" is trying to testify or not, it is still a great read. Don't pass up any opportunity to buy it or borrow it from a library, and read it!
Suggestion: read this writing with an open mind.
