Rating: Summary: Intriguing Review: Enjoyed this book. A different perspective on the world.I also recommend a new book coming out-- PSYCHIC WARRIOR by R. Doherty. A very different angle on the psychic plane, written by an ex green beret who was part of a classified program.

I do have one suggestion though.Once you start this book,or any of Sylvia's other books, be prepared to read it cover to cover because it is very difficult to put down until completed.Sylvia, thank you for sharing your knowledge with us and God Bless you and each of "us" on our journey to true enlightenment. Rating: Summary: Psychic Beyond Normal Comprehension Review: I like and respect well-know psychic Sylvia Browne.I also have some of her tapes and have seen her on several of the talk shows. I found this book a little far out and I think beyond the comprehension of the normal reader. As a child she says she saw "dead people" and parts of this book just come across downright "spooky". She speaks from her near death experience and about going thru the tunnel to the "other side".Even though I find this book very hard to try to comprehend, I do think she is a very special and psychically oriented person and she sees thing in a way that we normal people will never begin to understand.

Rating: Summary: Life on the Other Side "Review" Review: I thoroughly enjoyed the book so much I ordered the audio cassette. Unfortunately, Sylvia was not the reader, it was done by Lindsay Harrison, who ruined it for me. She read it like it was a story book and made it sound fictional. I tossed it. But, I kept the book. I wish Sylvia would find a new reader for her books...
Rating: Summary: window through time Review: This book is a window into the realm beyond our earthy plain. it is one of the best. This book makes a perfect gift for those in need of spiritual comfort and those looking for answers to the many (why's) in life.
Rating: Summary: Full of Fascinating Visions of What We Have Forgotten. Review: This is the third book that I have read by Sylvia Browne, and I must say it's more intricate, informative, and entertaining than Past Lives, Future Healings, Contacting Your Spirit Guide, and the Lecture CD:Angels and Spirit Guides. The more I read this book since the first page, and thinking about the contents consistently, the more I am drawn to it, and I believe most of the things she wrote about are accurate. I can relate to a lot of the things, especially encountering Dark Entities, The Chart, suicide attempt as a way of uncharted Exit Point, and the occasional "dejavous" moments that occur every now and then. Seriously, those things made sense to me, and this book ultimately taught me to understand my life and the purpose of my spiritual journey.
I think it's true that I intentionally charted my life to be very difficult and have to encounter many Dark Entities including a few in my family, simply it was my goal to overcome these obstacles, no wonder I was extremely overwhelmed by some events taken place in my life, and I desperately wanted to go Home. Sylvia talked about the Life Themes, and other Entities such as Mission Life Entities, and Mysterious Travellers, and I strongly identify myself as Mission Life Entity which is a more advanced spirit who is fearless and will take on very hard Themes and chart very difficult lives. I know that one of my best friend who had gone Home several years ago is very likely the same entity as me, because she fits the discription. I have also had my share of trying to save a number of Dark Entities and Gray Entities, but if they don't want to be saved, you are wasting your time, and it's inevitable that they will have to through the Left Door. Understanding yourself more spiritually ultimately makes you accept life more gracefully through all situations.
It makes sense that I am naturally artistic and have the profound innate desire to be creative all the time, because it's what I had signed up for, and I am given certain skills that's uniquely natural to me, and some areas such as math and science will always be my weakness, because I didn't include those talents in my chart. I am grateful if I am trully a Mission Life Entity, because I no longer think it's a burden that I have to experience as much hardship and pain as possible before I "Graduate" from this course and go Home. Before I read this book, I was often recentful, and I didn't like people who had easy lives or born with a silver spoon in their mouths, but now I feel totally different about it, because maybe those people simply chose to chart their lives that way, and as for me I had probably already lived that kind of lives a number of times in another century. I no longer think I am being punished or it's a karma thing or it's God not loving me. It's what I wanted to experience before I arrive in this Dimension from The Other Side. I will try my very best to accomplish what I have to go through.
I do get some "dejavous" moments as Sylvia mentioned. There are moments when in the middle of nowhere, I just remember vaguely that something that's happening had already happened. She explained that's because we had written those moments into our charts and sometimes the mind remembers bits of the chart. I believe that a lot of the information that we get so suddently are infused to our mind from our Angels, Guides, and Minions from The Other Side.
Sylvia described in great detailed about the structures of The Other Side, and the careers, housing, friends, and magical abilities that we have on The Other Side. She also talks about the characteristics of our God and Mother God. It was fascinating that we are the "new kids in the neighbourhood" in the whole universe that share the same God, and that each and every planet has it's own Other Side.
Anyways, I really enjoyed this book, and I am in such relief and comfort about my own existence, and there's a lot in this book that was helpful to me and I will definitely have a repete reading of it to learn more about what I have forgotten on the day I arrived here on Earth.
Rating: Summary: Insightful Review: This is an important book, because it provides direct answers to life's deepest questions: "Why are we here? Is there any purpose to life? Is there life beyond the veil of death"? Like me, Sylvia Browne is psychic, so in a way I think she's cheating. Browne possesses answers to these questions via a quick-route method without necessarily having 'grown' into them. I believe that it is humanity's destiny - due to the natural laws of growth - to eventually awaken to the truths disclosed in this book.
Here, from the book, and backed by my own knowledge, is a summary of life's deepest secrets beyond 'this side' of the veil:
(1) When we die, our soul continues to experience Life on the Other Side. There, we retain our individuality, live full lives in Heaven, and exist for all eternity. It is there that we are at our most alive and vibrant.
(2) We freely choose to incarnate on physical planes such as earth as many times as we like, in order to face challenges and trials which don't exist in Paradise. (A good way to interpret the nature of our short lives on earth is to perceive them as quick trips to the gym, which advance spiritual strength and growth.)
(3) The hardships and tribulations that we face on earth are of our own choosing, not God's. For each trip to earth, we choose our own bodies, we choose the timing of our incarnation, we choose the conditions of our upbringing and the challenges we face. (The greater the physical challenge, the greater potential for spiritual advancement. Hence, disabled bodies, for example, are actually blessings in disguise.)
(4) Our earthly minds are deliberately 'veiled' from the Whole Truth in order for our soul to experience challenges of a deeper kind. (i.e. concepts such as "fear", "loneliness", "pain", "hatred", "ugliness", "insecurity", or "doubt" etc. are incoherent in Heaven. They can only be experienced in realms such as earth-life, and our deeper goal is to rise above them and conquer them from within. If we were always aware of the Whole Truth, then the challenges would cease to be).
(5) Our degree of wisdom, inner peace and spiritual enlightenment is determined generally by our soul's level of growth and advancement. i.e. materialistic or shallow folk might be beginners at the game of life, whilst wise and spiritually mature folk have probably done the rounds many times before.
(6) The quickest way to advance spiritually and to cultivate positive karma, is to love, and to adhere to principles of goodwill, forgiveness and integrity.
(7) The devil does not exist.
(8) Hell doesn't exist, except for in one's own consciousness. (Hell is really a state of mind.)
(9) For the vast majority of souls, death is a highly positive experience. It is like being released from a dark, stuffy room, walking into a breathtaking world of freedom, beauty and light.
(10) The quality of our inner-experience on the Other Side is determined generally by the amount of spiritual wealth we have accumulated on our journey so far. People who have deliberately caused much evil and damage on earth, like Hitler, will experience an inner feeling of darkness and guilt when they arrive in Heaven. They will see the bigger picture and will be aware of the consequences of their actions to others and to their own soul. Oftentimes these people will automatically incarnate back to earth - or to another physical planet - in an attempt to `burn off' their negative karma. (It is difficult to balance out negative karma in Heaven, because the challenges don't exist there.)
(11) Ultimately, from the soul's reckoning, nothing really matters, because we are all eternally secure and constantly loved by God. Love and enlightenment is our ultimate destiny, and all the dramas of earthly life are really part of a big 'game', played out by souls in human costumes to fulfil a divine Plan. Whilst in this physical realm, it is indeed like living in the Matrix. Even though most people assume that this is the "real world", and that our earthly life is the be all and end all of our existence, there is a Real World beyond our earthly awareness. The difference between our situation and the situation portrayed in the movie 'the Matrix', is that the ultimate nature of reality is actually LOVE.
(12) From the divine perspective, the universe is a piece of art. It's like a huge kaleidoscope with many dimensions, swirling, dancing and expanding. Even though the universe seems so big, and we can feel so small, from God's point of view, physical size makes no difference at all. We all possess deep intrinsic value in God's eyes, regarldess of how worthless or small we think we are.
I am aware that the 'substance', or 'physical laws' of Heaven is very different to our earthly dimension. It's therefore quite illogical for Browne to describe Life on the Other Side in basic earthly language as she does in this book. (Although she hasn't got much choice, except for not writing the book at all. Some people might think that this would be the wiser option.)
When Browne says that in Heaven we can go fishing, have parties, and can create anything by thought-power alone, and that we can fly around different galaxies in spirit form, she is simply telling it the way it is. I can also tell it the way it is by saying that the substance of Heaven is made up of God's Consciousness. All things on the Other Side are akin to Spirit - the Real Substance. Yet this principle is simply foreign to our earthly ears.
If the insights in this book appear "absurd", "too good to be true", or even "wrong", then we can trust that we are not yet ready to hear the Truth. For now, we can accept that some things are secret for a reason, and we can keep an open mind.
