Rating: Summary: They Talk to Dead People Review: Have you ever wondered if we will be able to talk to our friends and family when we die? Judy and Bill Guggenheim answer this question from the point of view of people who assert that their loved ones have died and then contacted them after death. The Guggenheims present an amazingly convincing case that consciousness continues after death, and that such communications happen frequently. HELLO FROM HEAVEN is packed with amazing stories of ordinary people who have received unmistakable messages from their deceased loved ones, sometimes many years after death.Bill and Judy have done a superlative job of compiling the most comprehensive and organized collection of After Death Communications (ADCs) that I have ever seen in one book. After collecting more than 3,300 first-hand accounts of ADCs, the Guggenheims discovered that the dead can contact us with fragrances, touch, appearances, visions, dreams, rainbows, butterflies, and even the occasional phone call. These communications often contain reassurances that the deceased are doing very well, and need not be worried about. They can also provide help to the living, such as averting suicides. HELLO FROM HEAVEN provides great solace to those who have lost loved ones or have concerns about dying, since it is brimming with real-life, first-hand accounts of communications between the living and dead. For anyone who has seen or heard the dead and thought, "I must be imagining things - that couldn't have happened", this book also provides reassurance that you're not going crazy. Love is eternal.
Rating: Summary: A TIMELESS MASTERPIECE ON THE SUBJECT OF LIFE AFTER DEATH Review: HELLO FROM HEAVEN! is indispensible to anyone interested the beginning research of evidence of life after death. Judith and Bill Guggenheim originated the study of ADCs, or after-death communications, interviewing thousands of respondents and analyzing data as documented in this groundbreaking work. Their discoveries are remarkable. This book is a must-read, a one-of-a-kind.
Rating: Summary: The healing affects of an After-Death Communication (ADC) Review: I am currently preparing my second book on ADCs, and I am thrilled to report the immense healing and life-changing affects that ADCs have on an experiencer's life. These often sudden and sometimes subtle long-term affects are the "gifts of the spirit" that are passed along from our deceased loved ones. Many years after an ADC experience, we still realize that our perhaps one and only ADC had a revolutionary affect on our spirituality, our values, our life choices, and our sense of identity as an eternal spiritual being. This is the heart of my next book, and the transformative process that takes place while integrating a sacred ADC into our lives
Rating: Summary: Good, confirming Review: I am not one of those who has had any experience with After Death, but have some close friends who do. This book is totally unbiased, produces examples that are especially convincing, and that is what makes this book what it is. The authors put the book together with very little but super injection and glueing the accounts together so that the reader absorbs the material well. Considerable amount of time went into organizing this book, was not pasted together quickly, I do recommend reading it. If you want to go a step further, a good book that was recommended to me that delves into where the After Death Phenom originates and much more is SB 1 or God By Karl Mark Maddox. It's Good.
Rating: Summary: It's great Review: I am only half way through this book and already I am absolutely glued to it's pages. !! It really helps to know that we are not alone even though we have lost the ones we love. Thanks to the authors, and congratulation on a marvelous book. Joan Way
Rating: Summary: Interesting! Review: I bought this book and had some difficulty putting it down! It is very informative and often comforting. While some of the material is very sad, it's ultimate message is uplifting. If you have ever felt you were contacted by someone from the "other side", this book may validate your experience.
Rating: Summary: Enlightning reading Review: I can't explain the power of this book; I have always had questions to things for which I had no answers. As I read this book I began to read just a couple chapters a night, clearing my mind and really soaking in the words. As a child I had dreams of people in my family who had passed on but they were so real, it was hard for me to accept that they were just dreams. I went in to my exploration of books such as this hoping to get answers and clarification to some of these unexplained events that occurred in my childhood. I got more than that from this book. I think reading this book allowed me to be open in a very relaxed state of mind that one night as I slept, I had a dream in which my 24yr old nephew who had committed suicide approx. 2 years before came to me with a message of concern for his younger brother. I woke up and felt that I had to call and check up on his brother who was several states away that I had rarely had contact with. I thought maybe, the book just made me read too much into it, but that same morning a letter appeared in a box of stationary that my daughter found at the foot of her bed on the floor amongst other scatted envelopes, it was a letter from my deceased nephew addressed to his mother. When reading this letter we found it was an old letter and talked solely of his brother and his concerns for him. I think I have always believed but now I have the answers and conformation I had looked for. This book talks a lot about experiences like mine and ways messages are delivered to us from our departed if we just will take the time to open up our mind and really take notice of the spirits around us. This was an excellent read!!!

Rating: Summary: The examples of after death communications were comforting. Review: I found the examples of after death communications to be feasible and very comforting. I have related these examples to the grieving and have identified instances of ADC in the lives of others I have talked with about this topic. I am buying several copies to pass on to the grief-stricken.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful uplifting book Review: I got this book at the library and I HAD to have a copy for myself. This is one awesome book for people who believe they have had contact with the other side or for people who are afraid of death or for people who want to believe there is life after death. I could not put it down until I had finished it.
